That is an incredibly clever cat. Most humans, nevermind cats, would try to reach in and scoop out or bat out the offending objects. But to bop them out from the underside? That's a cat that thought about the material & shape of their hammock-bed, and thought about how to manipulate everything!

I am always blown away by this. Like. This little girl was alive and laughing and wearing her little hat and in the sunshine over 100 years ago. And her cat was eating little treats from her hands and having a fun little time over 100 years ago. Like. Their existence in history is recorded as so much more than the moody and serious black and white Victorian family portraits. AND WE GET TO SEE IT AND FEEL AS HAPPY AS THEY WERE! I have so many feelings!

Griffin's similarities with Lovell make me sick. He sounds like his father more often than not. It's almost like he looked upto his father at some point of his life. But that's the point right? The world needed both their qualities at the end. The world needed both Lovell's self centred, logical mind and Griffin's violence and Robin had to carry both their qualities in his softer heart to carry on. The process of Lovell leaving a mark on Griffin and then Griffin leaving a mark on Robin is almost prophetic. Robin almost transformed info Griffin in his last days. It's a complete cycle.
