another thing i find interesting is how fitz never thinks about his kisses with beloved. even during the quarrel he doesn’t bring it up. he also doesn’t try to push the fool away during the girl-on-a-dragon kiss. we never get to know how he feels about the kisses during or afterwards. he doesn’t dwell or ruminate or explain and i find that so telling
