No, I would not. Zootopia 2 (2025)
My favorite auditory part of this scene is that before Judy launches herself into the red tube like a rat into a fast food deep fryer, Nick doesn’t say we’re gonna run of air, he says YOU’RE gonna run out of air
His own life does not matter if Judy’s life is at just as much risk as his
If I looked at my platonic male friends like this, they would be a little nervous. Just saying.
Friendly reminder that while Nick and Pawbert where fighting, he tried to use the fact that Judy was "dead" to win. He thought that if Judy was dead that Nick would give up because it wasn't worth it.
So there's that.
Nobody appreciated this on twitter so I’m posting it here
Never separate them ever again
Distracted :3
Zootopia + text posts (part 18 of ?)
Confident and laidback Nick being awkward / shy is so sweet🥰.
And the best part: he's only like that around Judy💕
Zootopia 2
My most favourite Letterboxd reviews for Zootopia 2:
“There are dreamers and there are realists in this world. You'd think the dreamers would find the dreamers and the realists would find the realists, but more often than not, the opposite is true. The dreamers need the realists to keep them from soaring too close to the sun. And the realists, without the dreamers, they might not ever get off the ground”
This quote perfectly describes Judy and Nick’s dynamic. Judy has always been a dreamer, but her dreams often blind her to bad outcomes. Without Nick, she would’ve flown too close to the sun. She would’ve gotten hurt or possibly even died for a case no one else would even think of dying for. Nick is the realist who never dared to dream as big as Judy did. Without Judy, he would have never lived up to his true potential and become a hero to a city that used to only see him as shifty and untrustworthy.
They are each other’s perfect balance. They need each other.

I think Finnick clocked Judy as a problem the second he saw her.
In the Jumbeaux’s scene in the first movie, Finnick turned around and saw Judy while Nick was still trying to order. My theory, headcanon, whatever, is that Finnick locked eyes for a half a second and thought “this meter maid means trouble, and I don’t mean jail.”
There’s just something so knowing about his glance over to her.
Don’t get me wrong, I think he still thought she was just some dumb bunny. I don’t think he necessarily knew WHY right then and there. But I just think something in him KNEW. The ground shifted under him the moment he looked at her. Something inside him screamed. And when she reappeared the next day and hustled the crap out of Nick, Finnick knew to get out of there ASAP. Because this was when it all started. He knew Nick wasn’t getting out clean after one favor. And he definitely expected her to show back up eventually after the press conference.
The moment Finnick saw Judy, he knew she was a permanent fixture in whatever insane thing he considered his life to be at that moment. Maybe she’d join them on cons, maybe she’d take them down once and for all. I don’t think he necessarily could have expected the way Nick would fall for her (at least, not until day two, that hustle clarified it all for him, really), but at that first moment, he saw Judy and just knew nothing would ever be the same again.
But hey. It was nice while it lasted.
DOODLE DIARIES: Ughh, I wanna keep going, but experience has taught me to never color in the dark.
Fun fact for those wondering "Why can't you color in the dark?" Our eyes actually see colors differently in the dark! An art piece painted at night may look duller during the day because the poor lighting at night prevents accurate color perception. As an example, I'm currently sitting in a dark room looking at my own drawing, & the colors appear much too saturated, but it's only because I'm seeing them differently! It'll look much better in the morning! Cool, right? A little frustrating though since I really would like to continue but am unable to turn on any lights 😩
