i really like how the Jiang disciples immediately assemble together to defend themselves. they’re the only clan that does this, while everyone else just starts fighting the first thing they see on their own.

For a few years after the Sect was stabilized, he had ornate robes fit for his position made for ceremonies, conferences and daily wear.

They were terribly itchy and uncomfortable but he was forced to endure until he realised.. why did it matter what he wore? No one could stop him! He had no elders, no one senior to him! His people wouldn't care and the other Sects who judged him could fuck off!

Ultimately, apart from his guan, he wore the same robes as the Jiang disciples for all occasions.
