Maeve is the Umbridge of the TOG fandom

I’m sure someone else has thought of this. But really. We started with Erawan, then we meet Maeve. Both awful, but our hatred for Maeve is SO much stronger.

On their own. Just a mood piece that came to mind when I thought of this common theme among these characters. Some by force, some by choice, others by both. I wanted to let the environments speak for the characters and really had fun with the transitions~ I have a few other KOA sketches I may release later, but this set gives me closure with my KOA hangover. Back to papercrafting!

HOW are we ignoring the whole Rowan hid wyrdmarks in her tattoo to bring her home thing! Arlin goes the whole series shocking us every other chapter then Rowan pulls that off!!!!! Plus he planned it so far ahead because he has the same marks and you know he knew Aelin was gonna sacrifice herself even when she promised to do it together. Just gahhhhh!!!!

The Thirteen.

Of all the losses that is never one I would have predicted. As emotional as the series made me feel, this was the first time tears truly fell. Once I realized what was going to happen I audibly said “No” and then had to just sit and witness it.

It was made so much worse (and by that I mean infinitely better) by the respect they were paid at the end of the battle.

I still can’t get over Aelin losing her scars. All those symbols of abuse, mistreatment, and survival just....gone.

When I first read it I stopped breathing for a minute and had to reread it twice. It really just broke me.

SJMaas Appreciation Post

I am still amazed at how she pulls in the arts to each story line. Rereading HOF and have tears in my eyes at the stand the musicians took after the slave massacres. Art is powerful, music is powerful, it means something. I love her writing so much and this touch just makes it all the more real and beautiful.

Feyre Makes the Bargain with Rhys (Rhys POV)

I hope you guys aren’t getting sick of these Rhys POVs because I can’t seem to stop writing them lol. This one’s taken from Chapter 37 of ACOTAR when Rhys heals Feyre’s arm and makes the bargain with her to visit him in the Night Court. As always, the dialogue and scenes belong to Sarah J. Maas and I take zero credit for them. Enjoy.

Piece of Me

Making Feyre wait in that cell for someone to come and save her life was perhaps the hardest moment I had yet faced Under the Mountain. She was in such immense pain to the point that she couldn’t move at all, not even the parts of her that were still well and whole. And she was getting worse. Every spare moment of my day was spent monitoring her condition and each time I returned to the darkening recesses of her mind, it was like watching my worst nights with Amarantha on repeat a thousand times over.

But I couldn’t go to her.
