“I remember when I used to tell you everything. The second something happened, you’d pop into my mind straight away and I’d think, I’ve got to tell you. And then you-“
“-Moved away, left you behind. I know. I regret it.”
“Do you?”

BABY DONT HURT
The Pit
I was falling
falling into darkness
no one around who dared to help
to hear
to care
falling, yelling
no way to pull myself out
calling for help
I THOUGHT I saw LIGHT
I was falling
falling into darkness

Ocean
On the beach all you can hear is the roar of the wave as they crest, the slap of the water on the rocks and sand and you can also hear the seagulls annoying as always but somewhat welcomed. It seems foggy in the distance but you can see a mountain that is completely covered in snow from top to bottom as if its recently snowed. You don't know what season it is but it isn't cold over here but looking over at the mountain gives you the chills. You see two more mountains in the farther distance and wonder if they too are covered top to bottom in snow, just thinking about it gives you the chills yet again. The clouds look as it might rain but you aren't worried you're actually curious, curious to see if it will snow across the way. The water still constantly roaring, and lapping along with the screeching of the seagulls. You search the waters for a single sign of human life... you find none, no boats, not even fishing boats. You realize you're all alone only you the birds and - possibly the fish. You don't even know if the water has fish in it. You wade into the water, you get a chill again. The water is warm, at this point, you go deeper. The water is colder the farther you go out. The chills now seem reasonable you consider going back. At this point you are only one-fifth of the way across. You decide to not go back you finish the swim across. Under the mountains you feel the chill you felt when you looked at it. But it isn't cold and your mind is boggled. The clouds you saw over here before you got over here are gone they now look like they are over where the beach is. You're freezing even though it isn't cold and the water isn't helping. The cold from the water seeps through your skin making you tired and you slowly close your eyes. The lids of your eyes get heavier. They get closer. And heavier. Now all you see is the black abyss of the back of your eyelids.

Places
A place to be trapped
to feel overwhelmed
and uncared for
A place where there are hundreds
rampant
loveless
A place where you’ll hear
things you've never heard before
things you never needed to hear
A place you can’t be yourself
not without ridicule
or people hating you
and calling you fake
A place that is stringent
upon its people
A place that no longer cares
no longer cares about its people
