Faramir’s face was stern — it had been, as one of a Captain who listened to one of his soldiers, merely — but for that answer there happened an unconscious change to it. Anger it may not rightly be called with him.
“That may be so.” Though, while he might in his heart only approve of such noble thought, Faramir’s agreement with the explanation offered was distant. “Yet I had decided with good reason, to not send you out on your own. It was an order.”
Darion's face fell visibly at his captain's words. "Forgive me, Captain." he said quietly as he bowed his head toward Faramir. In all the years he served under Faramir he knew when he was upset and this was one of those times. "I did not mean to disobey you. But I thought it was necessary to do so, I am one simple man that can be replaced if killed."

"I knew I've seen you before! You look a lot like you brother. I remember talking about a sibling once or twice." Darion smiled as he laughed at the memory of walking through the forest of Mirkwood with the elven prince.

{text; Ferret Boy} I’m on my way… please be careful. I…I’ll find Ohtar myself. I lo- Belle closed out of her text screen, not wanting to type the last couple of words, too scared to say it. He already knew she was on the way. Without thinking, she pulled on the green loose shirt he loved so much and her jeans, adorning a simple gold leaf necklace before she ran out of her door and drove as fast she could to the pub. Moments later, she pulled the door open, hearing the familiar ding of the door as she entered. She smiled to the bartender, leaning across the counter with a wide smile. “Steve, dear,” she chuckled as he waved to her. “Have you see someone named Darion? He texted me saying he needed a ride? Professional flirt, fairly obnoxious…” she raised her eyebrows, biting her lips as she tried to describe him. Dreamy eyes that stopped her heart. The bartender laughed as he pointed to the table in the corner, clearly with some knowledge that she was not allowed to know though she knew not what. Shrugging it off, Belle walked towards the table, noticing the soft candlelight that lit up the remarkably darker portion of the the tavern. “What…. what is this?” she murmured softly, her fingers trailing the wooden table as she smiled gently, noticing the petals that grazed along the windowsill and the lights that dangled from above. Her furrowed eyebrows looked up confused. It was truly beautiful, and whatever girl that would be treated so was quite lucky, however… she had a mission. “Where is that damned flirted drunk?” she murmured.
"Now now, you wouldn't be talking about me now would you love?" Came Darion's voice as he chuckled lightly. He smiled brightly as he saw Belle turn around to face him once she had heard his voice. "There you are, love. I was wondering when you would notice me." he said once more as he made his way over to her with Ohtar relaxing comfortably on his shoulder.
Belle bit her lip, hesitantly removing her hand from her sword as she pushed it back in her sheath, her green eyes softening once she watched him lower his arrow. Her heart had finally settled down after her scare. She didn’t want to have to hurt anybody, not today. "Well, considering that I am out here, then perhaps I am not most women as I do not care so much about being careful around the forest as long as I do not die," she smiled lightly as she leaned against the tree. She had spent her recent years traveling after Rohan, and the forests have become more of a home than her exiled homeland was.
She removed her hood, her eyes watching the sun as it slowly started to lower through the trees before turning to the ranger with an apologetic smile. “I am sorry for my intrusion however. I was not expecting the forest to be this heavily guarded,” she said softly as she turned her head, hearing the small noise in the forest. She expected a devious creature to appear, her eyes puzzled as she looked closer in the moving leaves of the bush by her feet. “Oh!” she exclaimed as she watched the ferret. It was so… so small compared to most pets she had seen, almost pocket size. She giggled, watching the curious creature climb up the ranger’s sleeves before it turned to her, tilting its head while she reached out her hand to scratch his ears. “You are so precious. Your owner must be very kind to you to be so loving and trusting,” she murmured, her small smile growing quickly as it nuzzled against her.
Darion giggled at how Ohtar chattered from be pet by the odd woman. "I think he likes you." he replied as he watch the ferret nuzzle Belle's hand and chatter happily. He watched Belle as she seemed complete focused on the furry animal on his shoulder. "You must think it's silly for a ranger to have a ferret as a travel companion."

Belle pulled out her dagger and sword as one hand sliced the orc - quite beautifully as well while she winked at Darion - while the other threw the dagger into the orc’s other eye, rendering him blind before she stabbed him in the neck while an arrow whizzed by her towards the orc’s heart. "Would you mind giving me a warning before you shoot your damned bow, Darion!" Belle hissed, rolling her eyes as she jumped over him towards the five other orcs that she could see in the distance. "Always with the arrows too close to me," she muttered.
She knew he would never hit her, but a warming would have been appreciated…
Darion huffed softly as he looked over at Belle, "I knew what I was doing, love. Did you want me to stand by and watch you fight that beast alone? I think not." he said tensely due to the fact they had just been attacked by a small band of orcs. Who knew how many more there could be. "We must make haste to my brothers at the waterfall. Come on Belle."
