Introducing... Therai

Therai is my Tiefling College of Lore Bard being played in a home game where we’re running one of the AL games that was put out for free at the beginning of the pandemic. Originally he started out as much more of a flirty fun boy, but I’ve started really delving into his backstory and trying to figure him out. More of a support character, he’s been really helpful in getting the rest of my family into 5e, including my mom and dad.

Some his dice are also used in my Zina sets, but I can’t help it. I make a lot of characters with similar color schemes. Therai does get my special Bard dice from Valor Dice, which were a kickstarter reward, but I really like them (even if I have no use for the giant D12). Since @cantors-chronicles​ moved in, we’ve added Therai’s ex-boyfriend, the gunslinger Gilbert to the party. It’s been fun to play off my partner in a contentious way, but I think in time, Therai and Gilbert will mend their relationship. We’ll see...

My 3 Giant D20s from Dark Elf Dice’s kickstarter arrived today (10/10/20) and they’re so lovely! They’re so much bigger than I expected them to be and they’re nice and weighty. The second photo shows just how much bigger they are than regular dice. The three colors I picked were the Nightshade, Dragon’s Magic, and The Vampyre and I’m so happy with the way they came out.

Introducing... Zina!

Zinaida “Zina” Antonova Volkova (Ravenshade) is a High Elf Rogue I’m playing in Baldur’s Gate! Her twin brother Grigori (Grisha) is played by the wonderful @cantors-chronicles​ who also took the lovely dice palette photo! It’s been a lot of fun playing a character who is actually evil. While I’d love to post some of her backstory here, there’s lots of things that haven’t come out in game yet and so I’ll be keeping that hidden until it does!

Introducing... Nym!

Nym Dariros is a High Elf Arcane Trickster Rogue from the homebrew setting @cantors-chronicles​ and I are putting together. He grew up with a mother, father, and sister, but was kidnapped and taken away to a hidden High Elf kingdom hidden in the mountains. After an indeterminate amount of time, he escaped and traveled across the land, ending up more in the south of the continent. It was there he met Zvonimir, a Half-elven Bard who trained in the lands far to the north. Nym followed Zvonimir in secret at first and then more openly. At present, they are currently wandering the countryside, getting into more trouble than they should, in search of Nym’s family and new stories for Zvonimir. While we haven’t gotten the chance to use Zvonimir and Nym in an actual campaign, they’re incredibly important to our setting and the reason we began developing it. Hopefully some day we’ll find someone who we trust with our setting and we’ll get to play out their stories!

It arrived! An anniversary present for my lovely @callibop who loves and adores bulbasaurs just a tad more than she loves dice, courtesy of the ever lovely Bag Witch @magicandstitchcraft !

Feat. The whole bulb family, Bulbington IV, Sweetpea, Thyme and Rosemary, and their buddies Pen and Pez.

Bulbington IV is my big Build-a-Bear Bulb, Sweetpea is the slightly smaller plush, Rosemary is the Funko Pop, Thyme is the fake-lego one, and Pen and Pez don’t have official names.

Anyways I love this bag so much and I’m going to have to make a brand new character for it (and find more dice for them since most of the sets featured already have characters associated with them). @fluffmonger​ Happy 6 years in a couple weeks~
