Inevitably, Hanuelās whimsical yet slurred state had managed to rub off onto Aurel; intoxication had been the culprit to blame. A ditzy grin reflected on the brunetās features, a fine contradiction against his usual nature, and he gave off a laugh. Reassured that he lacked the rancid odor of his job, he nodded at the otherās words.Ā āTrue, absolutely true!āĀ
His high-spirits were only halted at the inevitable question: Why was he here? The mortician furrowed his eyebrows, his mind skipping as it backtracked to the past events that had unfolded out during his day. Was it due to a toxic customer or even the lack of service he had provided for the day? Perhaps he had gotten tired of his banal and silent lifestyle and needed a recharge, a break away from the usual grief that clung about him and his occupation. Did he even have a valid reason to be here? In the end, Aurel found himself giving off a lazy shrug as his index finger idly traced over the round rim of his glass.
āI just felt like it. I donāt have much to be mournful about to begin with. I just wanted a drink.ā He mused, one hand waving off the question as dark eyes flickered down to the polished counter,Ā āI would have stayed home if I had a supply and if my kitten could drink with me. But I didnāt have anything in my cupboard, my kittenās a baby feline, and I had no drinking buddiesā So I wounded up here again. I suppose you could say Iām drowning in my sorrowsā Although I donāt see how I can drown when Iām already used to swimming.ā He gave off another chuckle, albeit a bit sour, and then propped his elbow upon the counter so that he could rest his chin on his palm.Ā
āHow about you?ā He added in a beat later,Ā āWere you depressed about getting mauled by that bouncer?ā
Ā Ā Haneul, even in his state of disarray and with a numb feeling spreading over his face, could tell that Aurel was at some sort of a loss. The intoxicated boy knew for a fact that there was no way someone came to a club Ā in order to drink themselves into a stupor just because they felt like it. In fact, Haneul had only seen that once, and that was when he'd first moved to Daejeon from Cheonan; and he'd been wallowing in a world of self pity at the time. But, it wasn't up to him if the stranger- turned- friend didn't want to fess up. It was no skin off his teeth. In fact, it was all the more reason to get completely plastered, because the best stories were the ones told under a veil of intoxication.Ā
Ā Ā "Sorrows are shit, man. Like, the demons that are inside some people... Don't know if I could live with 'em myself." His words were starting to slur, but Haneul was definitely coherent, especially when he gestured to the bartender to the whiskey not three feet away from him. He didn't care he hadn't finished his last drink; he just wanted to get as drunk as he possibly could in the shortest period of time.
Ā Ā "Me? Nah, that was yesterday, and I don't hold a grudge. But, let's just say it was a tough day at work n' leave it at that. Ā Now, you drink, 'cause you got to get to my level real fast," Haneul grins. He didn't care that he was getting louder, because there was music thundering in his ears and a few hours of his life to forget. Ā

āyep~āMika snorts at himself, following the taller male to the elevator, excited to get to the top and see the sights. Ā Especially with the darkness, he bet the cities lights would shine brightly.
Ā "I just can't believe that you've never been here before. I mean, I get if you're just seeing the city, but for real." He's still trying to figure it out. Usually Namsan Tower was the first thing on all tourists' lists when coming to SK.Ā āItās like saying youāve never had tteokbokki.ā

āAnd what would that offer be?ā He raises a brow, bringing his nails up to rest against his own cheek, one just between his teeth.Ā āIāve got my fill of personal items to pawn off for the next few weeks so I doubt you could appease me.ā
"Well, I can tell you that I'm much better company than mere objects could possibly be," Haneul smiles, clasping his hands together firmly so that he would stop fidgeting. "Besides, if an object will only hold your interest for a few weeks, then allow me to show you that I'm much more pleasurable to keep around."
āthats awesome.ā Mika let out a laugh before grinning.Ā āWell i can definitely say that this counts for a good night of wooing~ i think ill allow myself to be put on your to do list.ā he teases.
"Is that right?" Yifan smirks, finding the conversation to be taking a much more interesting turn now, and he heads toward where the elevator is; at the end of the lobby and dead center.

He couldnāt help but give off a laugh at the other maleās words. The man was witty and the brunet found himself fond of it. A smile curled at his plump lips, Aurel let their glasses clink in celebration for their drunken night. With good company and a hearty round of drinks at hand, not even the looming threat of a disastrous hangover could deflate the brunetās spirits.
āLetās just make sure to drink a couple of glasses of water later.ā He noted, pressing the rim of his amber-filled glass to his bottom lip,Ā āWe can be the greatest of friends, Haneul, as long as we manage to remember everything that happens tonight.ā Another chuckle vibrated through him before he took another swig of his drink. In reality, it had been some time since he last had a drinking partner and, inevitably, the mortician was excited.
Then, with their previous talk of corpsesĀ surfacing in his mind and in combination of his slight self-consciousness towards his smell, Aurel quickly put his glass down and gave a quick sniff towards the hem of his sleeve.Ā āSpeaking of, I donāt smell like death, do I? Iām very strict on hygiene but I always smell like I just came back from the crematory! I donāt want you to sniff me, but Iām a tad bit nervous that I will scare you away.ā Thankfully, given to he could gather from Haneul despite his state of mind, the other male appeared to be laid-back. It made Aurel curious and inevitably he found himself somewhat interested in getting to know the other. Currently, all he knew was that Haneul had a tendency to pick fights with boorish bouncers but, even to that, he hadnāt the faintest clue as to why.
Ā Ā Haneul was glad that, despite his drunken state, he could still read and follow the situation pretty well. And, what the situation was telling him was that he should have made sure he had some sort of app on his phone so that he'd have a ride home after. Although, the longer he thought about it, the more he realized that he'd stumbled back to Rapacious in a state of complete intoxication more than once. The thought was not a nice one. Not when it came to Haneul's mind what would be waiting for him once he did return to the club. Damn the owner and his tall stature.Ā
Ā Ā "Oh, water's for looosers." His tone was taking on just a slight slur now, mouth not completely cooperating with his brain. "You gotta just go for it. Take as many drinks as you can and make as many mistakes as possible. I mean, that's what friends do, right? They get totally wrecked and hold each other's heads when someone pukes on the sidewalk, huh?" Haneul grins over at Aurel, a distinctly clown-like appearance taking over his features as he props an elbow up on the bar.Ā
Ā Ā His brows furrow, eyes narrowed at the question and he has to physically lean back to stop himself from doing exactly that. "Well, all I can really smell as this point is sweat and booze, so even a morgue would be better. Trust me." The human shrugs, nonchalant. "But, what does bring you here? I mean, everyone has a story, right? You drowning your sorrows?"
orphanchen:
The laugh that leaves his lips is cold with no life to it.Ā āIād rather shred you with my claws. But I suppose I could entertain you just for a bit longer. Iāll give you fifteen minutes to convince me otherwise.ā Chen inspects over the long nails that extend from his fingers, clean and sharp, ready for the cut.
Ā Haneul winces, having trouble taking his eyes off the curved claws dangerously unsheathed toward him. "Well, I haven't done anything bad to you, right? And, besides, I'm sure that I can offer you something that would appease you enough not to shred me to pieces?" Haneul smiles.
āi had no idea.ā Mika laughed and instead headed to the building, his hand going out to grab ahold of the others shirt so he wouldnāt lose him- or well so that the other wouldāt lose him. Yifan would have been impossible to lose, given his height.Ā āah probably- much more suited to being high than drunk.ā
Yifan laughs, shaking his head just slightly at the contact as well and the comments.Ā āWell, we are going pretty high,ā he jokes, looking up at the tower as the two of them head inside the building.Ā āBut, yeah, thereās the rotating restaurant and some shopping through the tower, too.ā

Looking up at him, her smile faded. Slowly she removed her arm from his.Ā āSorry.ā She moved her eyes forward.Ā āI was acting too comfortably. My bad.ā She shoved her hands into the back pockets of her jeans.
Ā "No, really, I should apologize. I'm just not used to that feeling." He grins, though he was sure it seemed more like a grimace and he kicks a rock out of his path with another step. "Anyway, the cafe is right here, so maybe we should just focus on how good that hot chocolate is going to taste, hm?"
