This talk of love and romance is actually a little sickening– reminding her of the people she cares about. People who don’t know where she is. With brows pinched together, she rubs at the bridge of her nose and asks the nearest individual in a low voice: “ Where’s the nearest exit. I need some air. ”

You’ve been to one museum once before, by the cobbled streets of Fairglass, you and your friends were asked to find a man who after his own glass work was denies he sought for vengeance against the pretentious curator and master painter. This time however you could sit back and enjoy another person’s hard work and artistic integrity. Which you did for a while unil a voice hushed and ushered towards you asked for the exit. 

“Uhhhh.......”

You’re unsure of it but it looked so familiar. Head arcing forward towards the abyss above, black littered with stardust. Each flickering light holding onto a person’s wish. You’ve heard stories before that once a wish is granted a new light will appear to hold another’s dreams. 

The lights above, when compared to where you’re from seems far and few but you still recognize a few patterns and constellations. A last visage of your own realm like a lingering wave of goodbyes before sailing through the horizon. 

Eyes closed as you let out a small sigh and make a wish, hoping the message is held by the sparkling visages. 

“I wish for happiness and safety in my upcoming endeavors.” 

Once said you turned back only to see another person behind yourself. 

“Oh! Are you here to make a wish too?”

You speak as you raise, putting your arms down and taking a more relaxing posture. Your finger scratching your chin in thought.

You notice two things, that one there is a hill giant outside your walls and two there seems to be a woman within the confines of your monastery since how long? One more thing, she dresses like the people from the city where you awaken self roam. 

You raise your flute and hold it to your lips, playing a soft melody which caught the attention of the hill giant. It raises the tree trunk that works as a club in its hands before letting out a guttural roar. 

You turn towards the woman with a nervous laughter. 

“Uh miss....The thing is gonna gonna throw rocks soon...I think you should hide or something...”

The mountains of Eastern Ethea is rugged and cold, the snow blankets the landscape year round and the wind and wolves fight to see who has the more bitter bite. Nestled in the rocks raised by the golds of old sits an old fortress, its stones tattered from wear. It’s only entrance an iron door and bolted above it is a sign that reads Yun Feilong.

Inside sitting on a stone bench is Redbean, in his hands a flute and just outside the walls of the monastery is a lost hill giant.

"I’m from Ethea, but my name is Canglong but most people call me Redbean.” You began, gripping the lightly before releasing. Your own eyes moving to the regalia you’re wearing which in most of the eyes of the people you knew back home was still deemed odd. 

“Are you new here as in....uhm how do I say this. Did you just arrived? To this city i mean. The non natural look of everything can be very exhausting. ”
