Alright guys. Gonna give ya’ll a quick rundown of what I used for my fantasy!Bakugou cosplay!
This is everything I used for the necklaces. With links! Paint (Any acrylic kind will work. I use Craftsmart because it’s super cheap.) Polymer Clay (You can use air dry or the kind you bake. I used the kind you bake because I already had it on hand. You can use white and paint them after like I did. Or if you want to skip the painting part, you can use clay that’s already the color you want. I used Sculpey because I have a ton on hand.) Wooden Beads (If you don’t want to make EVERY SINGLE BEAD with clay, by hand, I would suggest getting wooden beads in the colors you need. Red, Orange and Blue in this case.) Embroidery Thread (You could use anything you want for yours. I used embroidery thread because I had tons on hand and it was small enough to fit through the wooden beads.) Needles (I used a plastic needle to make holes in my clay beads since it was bigger and I wanted to be sure the holes wouldn’t be too small. I then used a regular metal sewing needle to thread everything onto the embroidery thread at the end.) Also, please note I’m not sure where to send you to get the long wooden beads I used on the blue necklace because I found those at the dollar store a while ago...
I picked up the sleeves here. And then I put the upper part of it over a roll of duct tape so I could draw the markings on with sharpie. This way they’re even on both arms!
And finally for the cape I bought this cheap Halloween cape and half a yard of this faux fur. I then threw the cape around my mom’s shoulders, tossed the fur around on top and used sewing pins to pin the fur into place carefully where I wanted it. That way it would slide. I was then able to sew the fur onto the cape with the stitches out of sight on the underside of the cape. I hand sewed it because I have no sewing machine. But I imagine a sewing machine would be much faster. I still have to make his earrings but otherwise it’s all set. You can see the full cosplay on my Tiktok. And of course feel free to ask questions!
