It's okay to have bad days, and it's okay if you're not able to pull yourself out of them. You're allowed to struggle.
One day, you're going to be free. Just try to hold on in the meantime.

Shoutout to abuse survivors who stayed kind, because staying kind through abuse is really hard, and shoutout to abuse survivors who couldn't stay kind, because staying kind through abuse is really hard.
Shoutout to those who have been kind and unkind amidst abuse, because human beings are not exclusively one thing and crisis situations do not warrant kindness over self defense. Be complicated. Do good. Give them the bare minimum. Do whatever you can to stay safe. Never stop picking at the lock they hold on your life.
TL,DR; You don't have to be kind to someone who just abused you. Not unless it guarantees temporary safety.

You are worth so much more than they've made you believe.
You have so much worth.
I'm proud of you for making it to today.
You can make it through this.
You're going to be okay.
Take a deep breath.
You have beautiful, bright things in your future.
Do something that will make you happy. You deserve it.
You have the power to break the cycle.
You are not a monster.
Treat yourself kindly.
