A: We are not going to be vetting ships. We ask that you think about the spirit of the event and whether your ship(s) feel rare to you!

Q: Are there separate NSFW prompts?

A: We have decided against a separate NSFW promptlist in order to keep things simple. Please see below for clarification on prompts.

Q: Do I have to follow the prompts?

A: Not at all! If you should wish to treat every day as a "free day" with your own inspiration in mind, please feel empowered to do so. We just want everyone to have fun and create from the heart. Additionally, you do not have to commit to every day or every prompt in order to participate. You can pick and choose however you'd like!

Another ask from strawpage

Friendly reminder that our rules do not disallow age gaps, they recommend against wide ones. Also, we considered canon ages at the time of the current arc. If seeing this promotional image upsets you, we encourage you to seek events with a heavier ruleset

On a previous rarepair event, they considered *familial* Tsukasa&Kohaku a rarepair. So, is familial stuff ok? Or is it all romantic?

We encourage all forms of rare relationships to be explored! We wouldn't allow romantic Tsukasa/Kohaku based on the no incest rule, but if you want to draw or write or create other fanworks based on their platonic or familial relationship please go ahead!

Also a general reminder that we are not going to be vetting ships, and this includes platonic relationships. We ask that you think about the spirit of the event and whether your relationships feel rare to you!

If you would rather explore platonic friendships or something like queer platonic partners that's awesome! We welcome that as well as romantic ships! Just make sure that if you specifically write fic (rather than some other kind of fanwork) with a platonic intention you use the & tag rather than the / tag.

Yes! Rare Stars Fall welcomes all fanworks in all forms, whether that be art, fanfiction, cosplay, nui photos, or something else! Please feel free to create whatever interests you most!

As long as you follow our ruleset then whatever you do outside the event is not really any of our business. Please do join us - we're just here to have fun and celebrate our rarepairs!

Thank you so much for the support so far everyone! We've gotten a few questions on our strawpage, so we will be answering those below. Please also feel free to send questions to our inbox!

In our opinion, Kuronito or Kuronazu is not very rare. This is because it has a decent number of fics on ao3 and it has had a dedicated ship week before. Just think about the spirit of the event and whether it fits. We are not obsessing over what "counts"!

If this is something you'd like to consider, go ahead! As this event is run in English the mods are not too concerned about pixiv popularity.
