God, I love indie games. Here's what I've been playing lately:

Tiny Bookshop all the books are real! My tbr is so much longer! It's very sweet and I love both the decorating and the storyline of building community in a new town.

Paralives very early access, so it's glitchy, but already SO FUN and adding some much needed variety to the life sim genre. The building mechanics are fantastic. I can't wait to see what they add as time goes on.

Town to City came out of early access today! It's a ton of fun and feels very unique, which is always exciting. It's a city builder, but way more relaxed than something like City Skylines.

Anyway, I highly recommend them if you're looking for a new indie game to play.

Vintage Story is truly one of the games of all time and has a level of attention to detail that I aspire to one day reach, and nothing exemplifies that more than the bugs. There are 169 unique butterfly models in the game! They have unique spawning conditions depending on world height and rain frequency and temperature, and a unique pin you can wear for every single one! You don't have to interact with them at all if you don't want to! This is something someone did out of true passion!
