i feel like some people nowadays think that giving their child a gender neutral name could make it easier if they're trans because then they wouldn't have to change their name, and while i think it could make it easier in the way that they might not be misgendered as much based on their name, that's not usually what people assume, thinking their child wouldn't want to change their name if it already works for whatever gender they are. but trans people with gender neutral names can still want to change their names to something more gender affirming, or even just something they think fits them more, and also some people have names that fit their assigned gender at birth that they don't change after transition. this all to say that if parents name their kids something gender neutral expecting them to never change it if they come out as trans, it's quite limiting, and they might end up disappointed in their kid, which will definitely affect the child. so we should probably try to abandon this idea
'ooh trans names like kai and alex are so boring' ok pick an element of the periodic table. you picked cesium. thats your name now. fuck you.

Actually I wasn't born in the wrong body I was just born in my body and then it was up to me to decide what I want to do with that
When did YouTube comments start getting good? I missed it.
the way non-black people were so quick to profit off of juneteenth when it became a trending topic on social media is extremely fucking ugly.

as a member of the lgbt community, it really hurts to hear people say that my "lifestyle" isn't "family friendly". i care a lot about being family friendly. it's very important to me. that's why this month i'm partnering with your mom -
not to be a bitch but i still get really bitter about this sentiment. maybe YOU got to make bread and garden. i was an essential worker and i spent the entire first 6 months of the pandemic risking my fucking life 40+ hours a week so you could buy your groceries. that was one of the worst and most horrifying times in my entire life that genuinely traumatized me but fucking glad the rest of y’all were having a blast playing animal crossing for 19 hours a day while i had to confront death every time i clocked in for a job that paid me $12 an hour.
i LOVE being able to hide my activity online i LOVE messaging services that don't show read receipts i LOVE turning off notifications i LOVE being able to hear someone knocking at my door and pretending i'm not home
Do you think Chris sees tik toks about how hes saved the world and people are just memeing on him about it like,,,, chris :we're going to end all bio terrorism kid named all :
Oh, I know it pisses Chris off so bad, but he just becomes as much of a meme in universe as he is in real life, in fact even more so. This man deadass punched a boulder into lava to stop global saturation. When the world knows about this, Gen Z goes WILD. It becomes a twitter hashtag, Tiktok POV’s are made like “I’m Chris and you’re the boulder” where they just punch their phone, Chris Redfield punches you into lava ASMR becomes a thing. TikTok art challenges have kids painting this on their clothes or walls or shoes:
Fan fiction of Chris and the boulder happens, kids seek him out in public. He’s spammed with memes from Claire, who thinks it’s the funniest thing ever. He is at his breaking point until he realizes it’s getting kids educated and it’s the highest form of flattery. They’re not making fun of him, they love him. He’s their hero. The BSAA embrace it, too, and jump on the memes on their official Twitter. Chris does some videos with Youtubers and Tiktoks, again, to educate.
It’s better than Leon, who’s stuck with flipagram roasts.
