Why is "abysmal" so high??
My roommate messaged me that I got an amazon package, which was weird because I didn't remember ordering anything from Amazon. I went out and opened it, and it was empty. Nothing in there. Which is exactly what I ordered from Amazon, I guess?
I'm not sure what the hell is happening at Amazon, but my dad just received something he never ordered from them. His name and address on the package, item he has no knowledge of inside. What's going on? Have they put some new AI system in charge of everything or something?

A call for cartoon fanart
Hi! On my site, Debutniverse, I watch the first episodes of all different 80s and 90s cartoons - and I would love to include people's fanart for the various shows on the site! Full instructions are on this post on the site, but the main rule is that the art needs to be based on any of the cartoons listed on the site's main page. Apart from that, pretty much anything goes! And of course I will include a link to your Tumblr or any other site/profile you have anywhere.
Cartoons are one of my favourite things, as you can tell, and I love to see what they can inspire! Anything you can manage - even just a doodle - will help!

As a Christmas Eve treat, here is me voicing the "Almost Christmas" scene, using the voices I use for these characters when I play the games myself. Spoilers for the fourth case of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.
Fun fact: I found out when looking up the transcript that there are two versions of this conversation. There are two valid pieces of evidence you can object with here, and Phoenix gives different reasoning depending on which one you pick. The meme line is there either way, though.

OK so I never post on here any more, but I've made a new thing on cohost where I watch just the first episode of all different 80s and 90s cartoons and post some thoughts on them. It hasn't got in-depth critical analysis, but it's got me having a lot of fun watching cartoons, and also a lot of gifs like the ones above.

God I hate these fucking floating monoliths. They always go, like, 10mph below the speed limit and if you try to pass them they just fucking distort reality around them until you're back behind them again. One of them cut me off on the highway once and when I honked it banished me to a hoary netherworld where I wandered, lost and alone, for untold centuries, trapped in the liminal space between what could have been and what never was, black stars dotting the bright infinity yawning out around me as I drove out of thought and time, through endless ruined cities and blighted lands unmarked by the sun's cold rays, and when I finally got out I was more than 20m late for my dentist appointment and they had to reschedule me.
