I think Clown won't go after Flame, Theo or Parrot. He will go after people they care about or something like that. HE IS NETHER KING, HE CAN DO A LOT OF THINGS THAT WILL MAKE THEM SUFFER.

Like he's sleeping and this owl still constantly moving while trying to sleep. And maybeeeee maaaaaaaaaybe he's a little worried that Clown might do something bad tomorrow due to lack of sleep.

Clown sleep a little better when Ferre is nearby. Did you know that you sleep better when someone you trust is nearby?

They have a house in the overworld where they periodically rest and Clown finally sleeps normally.
