I'm not exactly sure who to ask about this so I'm asking Tumblr.
I'm planning on making the handkerchief from Anguish of the Marrow (the talisman Angel carries), and I'm planning on trying some cutwork around the sides. Would it be inappropriate for me to use vévé symbols? I am not sure given that it's recreating something based on the religion. Thank you.
My first filet crochet piece! Its boarders aren't as neat as i'd like but i hid them under the frame lol. This was my first time working with thin string and i love how far a little ball takes you

One of the pieces of hair art is in a cigar box, the other in a frame made by yours truly. The butterfly is both pinned and framed by me, though I am planning on adding more foliage. Otherwise some embroidery and crochet I finished recently.

Pinning a cicada! I tried to put him in a slightly more organic position, like hes about to take flight, but i have no clue if I did that well. Anyhow, I love this little guy and im excited to see how he turns out!
First time putting something in a more organic position, I dont know that I did it right but I dont mind how he came out. Again, if anyone knows what kind of butterfly this is pleasepleaseplease let me know :>
