So my position change has been delayed a week and ngl I am pretty put out by it I was ready to get through anything today because I knew it would be my last doing it, and I have 43 clients and I'm just so stressed And now the wind is just outta my sails I'm gonna promise myself ice cream after work so I don't cry at work, because that would really upset the clients (they're very sweet, a lot of them ask how I'm doing everyday)

Also when my new position does start, it will only be Thursday and Friday for the next month, the rest of the week I'll still be going out with a small group Which is...ok, just not what I was expecting/hoping for But only a month til they can fully train my replacement

If they had told me that from the start I'd be more ok I think it's thinking I was starting next Monday and then getting told well no the Friday before And it's no one's fault, the person I was gonna be working with had to have surgery so like they weren't pulling this deliberately, it just sucks

Speaking of unexpected, I also wish I'd been told they were gonna set up a salad bar on my desk I realize that sounds bizarre but it's not a euphemism, they're doing a salad bar for the clients today Which is lovely, just, it's where I usually set up. See, I don't actually have a desk, it's the counter in the kitchen area, but I call it my desk since I don't have one And again, kitchen area of the room, makes sense to put the salad bar there, I get it I just wish firstly I'd been told and also given somewhere else to set up Like it's fine, I found something, I just I wish I could have gotten the small consideration of a notice and an alternative spot

So, back when the chinchillas had their fight, they were living in a double large cage my dad had made by putting two double decker Critter Nation cages together

Which is perfectly fine for a chinchilla but my dad has been insistent she needs an expansion

He’s been looking on Facebook marketplace forever to find a secondhand one for cheap he can attach to her cage

He found one at last so we’re on our way to pick it up

The last days of calendaristic spring are almost over. It already smells like summer, the breeze is warmer, the greens are lush and the days are longer and longer. Still a bit to go until they peak in the Summer Solstice in June.

As for me, I am happy to share here with you my latest sticker sheet, that I've been working on for a long while. It's finally done! It's an early spring themed artwork, but  if you love those wet and crisp days of March, it's probably for you 💫
