Just talked about gomens 3 and how its bad and how it could be better with my sibling for like 20 minutes.

Good omens 3 was kind of really bad. The pacing was one thing, whatever can't blame them too bad, but the ending undid the FUNDAMENTAL BUILDING BLOCKS of Aziraphale and Crowley's characters.

THE POINT is that they come from different truths. They have different views on the world and god and good and bad, they are so different, and they challenge each other's beliefs. They spend 6000 years pining and struggling with their own identities as they twine into each other and when they are ripped away from each other it is once again the fault of heaven and hell.

S3 puts them back together with barely any conflict, then they go and let the world be destroyed for the greater good or whatever. The big ending is just a human au? They cannot BE Azi and Crowley without coming from heaven and hell. The story strayed so far from the original theme and feeling of GO1.

Super disappointing. Yaoislop. Too focused on the cute couple to remember what actually makes them good together.
