It’s Over Now

Jacqueline listens but that didn’t mean she understood what Raven meant. “Fine. But don’t think I’ll enjoy anything ever again.” She said being dramatic whether she knew it or not. “Back up off my man, But I get it cause Cam is like ew compared to Clayton.” She didn’t like when others found Clayton attractive even after death. “Sounds like life without him but what other choice do I have so I guess I have to get used to the knew fun.” She sighed and Followed Raven.

-Cuts to Raven pushing the cart around cloud nine and trying to keep an eye on her sister.-

“Okay Jac,” she looks at her shopping list, “We still need the silk milk for the smoothies.” She looked at her sister. “Do you think you could grab that for me? I have to run just to the next aisle if you need me that’s where I’ll be.” Raven was slowly trying to give Jac her Independence back but it was small steps until she thought she could look out for herself again. “Can you handle that or do you want to stick with me and we’ll get it together?” she said brushing her sister’s hair out of her eyes like she was a child.

It’s Over Now

“But I love him!” She cries. “It’s not fair!” she prolonged dramatically. “Why?! why did something bad happen to such a good loving kind soul like my Clay,Clay.” She sniffles. “How am I ever going to love again? No one is ever going to be half as handsome as him. or be that good at fingering….a guitar.”

“I know you did.” She sighs having to once again hear what she had been hearing ever since she got Jac back. “Like yourself, not like Clay, Clay.” Raven rolled her eyes. “With your heart Jac, you will find a way to love again...just like you somehow found a way to love him.” She grins, “He was handsome that’s the smartest thing you’ve said.” She rubs Jac’s arm, “Come on let’s go to the grocery store and pick up some things to make a stir fry and smoothies. Sound fun?”

“Jac, baby girl it’s over now. It’s been months.” She knew her sister was still mourning the evil that had brainwashed her. “Let’s get you back out there and let you fall in love the real way. You deserve a nice man or woman who will treat you with respect.”

The Non-Believer

Somehow @jacqueline-m-rouge managed to get Clayton to go to church. Clayton looked over at Tate and his grandson. Clayton was sweating. He looked at the preacher’s wife and fantasized about killing her. Clayton wouldn’t say much in public and he was feeling overwhelmed. Clayton was a nonbeliever he was raised that way. Clay glanced over at the other side of Jac and seen Raven sitting beside his woman. Clayton hadn’t been smart enough to put together what had brought him here he could be not so smart when it came to the less complicated things and this was one of them.

Raven managed to get Jac to get Clayton to go to church because Jac wanted to prove to her Clay could be “good” Jac looked over at Clayton and grins and then straightens Tate’s tie like a mother would. Jac grabs Clayton’s hand slowly knowing how uncomfortable he got around outsiders. ‘It’s okay baby.’ She whispers and pushes her breasts up. ‘See I told you.’ She says to Raven quietly.

“Jac, he’s freaking out. We need to go before the people of the church start to intrude.” Raven realized this was a bad idea to drag them her. “Come on Clayton let’s just go.” She reached for his hand but he grabbed her tightly. “Let go of me.” She said quietly but desperate as he squeezed her hand tighter, “Ahh! Clayton! Let go!” She said and the people turned around in their seats looking at them. “You’re hurting me!’ Raven was brought to her knees as Clayton was now standing. “Jacqueline, please!” She begged her sister to stop him.

‘My life is the best it ever has been!’ She protested. ‘Well think again, because guess what?! it is.’ She sasses. ‘He takes away the bad and fills me with the good. just like he filled me with this baby.’

Clayton is welcome to go with us.” Raven turned to religion to save her sister though it was her last resort now.

“I missed you too babe. You don’t understand, Rave.” He shook his head. “It’s Micah. We went out drinking like he had and then we decided to do skinny dipping. well we did and we were in the water and everything was fine till he stepped in the quicksand, It just ate him up Rave.” He cries. “I ran to get help not even taking a second to put on my clothes and they arrested me for running though the boardwalk nude. I tried to tell them but when I pointed to where micah was all I seen was his middle finger just above the sand reaching for help and then he was just… gone. My best friend. Gone.” Was cam telling the truth or was he just on shrooms? who knows.

At first, Raven was so concerned but the more this tale went on she believed it to be the shrooms talking. “What the hell is wrong with you babe?” She smacked him in the head.

After all the torment her body had obtained from past pregnancy beatings and miscarriages from Clayton’s torment. and one abortion from the past it couldn’t last, but she understand that. “My teeth are beautiful and fine. Clayton takes care of them.’ True he did. they just weren’t in her mouth when he done it. ‘I told him no front ones.’

I gave you the birth control why didn’t you take it?” she asked frustrated. “No, I can not see.” She said firmly. “Oh does he? and how does he take care of them for you?” Raven just thought Jac let him brush her teeth and he did a poor job. “Did he listen?” Raven almost laughed at Jac’s mouth.

Raven rolls her eyes, “He’s in jail for nudity. Don’t ask.” She didn’t want to talk about how stupid her fiance was. “Umm yeah, earlier when you were talking I noticed that you are missing another tooth?”

Raven was at a loss. “What am I going to do with you, Jac.” She shrugged. “You’re a grown woman so there isn’t much I can do. He doesn’t love you for the right reasons. If you love someone you would never want to see them cry or hurt. He makes you cry when he hurts you. Look at Cameron , he loves me.” Raven said it like she was almost trying to convince herself that Cam did love her but lately she was feeling neglected by him.

Now, do you really want to go back to Clayton? Not because you fear for your life, but because you could be anywhere else in the world but you would still choose to be with him?”
