I’ve been to heaven.

Actually, according to Ash I’ve been to heaven a lot but I don’t remember more than the one time. Needless to say, angels are dicks. There was pie though, I’ll give them that. What people don’t get is heaven isn’t some badass dream like everyone says, like this perfect place they can’t wait to go to. There’s nothing perfect in heaven or on Earth.

And okay, I know I’ve had a pretty fucked up life. Like literal hell for some of it. And there’s all the monsters and the blood, the times I can’t save people that I should’ve. Sammy and I, we’ve been through the ringer. But he has Eileen now, which is great. I’m thrilled how happy he is now that he’s found his Omega, I really am. He deserves it, they both do. But seeing them so happy together, it just reminds me how damn lonely I am.

Good news! I have the solution.

PORTALS CAN’T MOVE.

If you place a portal on a surface, and then that surface moves, the portal immediately closes. A good example of this is one of the last test chambers in the first game. There is a surface that, upon a button press, is tilted upwards at an angle. If you place a portal there and THEN hit the button, the portal disappears.

The ONE, SINGULAR EXCEPTION to this has been in Portal 2 when you are deactivating the neurotoxin generator. But it is fair to assume in all other cases a portal would not be allowed to move.

I will grant you that it may just be the limitations of it Being a Video Game. But there is no more concrete evidence to suggest they could move in reality than there is to suggest they couldn’t.

WHY IS POST PLUS/POST+ SO BAD?

Tumblr’s primary focus is on FAN content (whether any of us want to admit it or not). Putting these kinds of contents behind patreon like paywalls is a terrible idea and the legality is NOT in the user or their subscribers favor. You can absolutely get in legal trouble for what tumblr is proposing with this new feature. There’s also the worry about the site’s (poor) security and access to Post Plus users bank information. Do you really want a site that lacks a functioning search function and whose userbase routinely get hacked to have your credit card information? No, you really don’t.

WILL THIS WORK?

Maybe, maybe not. It’s an attempt at doing something to combat tumblr’s impending self-inflicted demise.

“None.” Jensen cut you off with a small smirk, leaning against the door frame and chuckling when he saw you startle and let out a small yelp when you realized he was there.

“Jens!” you exclaimed, hand over your heart “You scared me, how long have you been standing there?”

“Long enough.” he grinned, getting closer to you “Long enough to admire the view and maybe- certainly fall in love with you just a little bit more, unbelievably possible you see, and that adorable face you make when going through your…” he looked over your shoulder at the things in your hands “Childhood memories I see! Wow that’s some real talent there, is that-” he tilted his head to the side, looking at your childhood drawing “Is that a… kitty or a shark?”

“Shut up.” you said with a small pout, feeling the heat rise in your cheeks from the embarrassment, but at the same time unable to hold a small laugh when Jensen ticked your sides before wrapping his arms around your middle and sitting down next to you on the bed “And to answer your question… I think it’s supposed to be both. My favorite animals from land and sea, you see, because of how adorable and dangerous they can both be.”
