Khan out of Darkness

Sequel to khan into moonlight

(This is part 2 of the story khan into moonlight. This will also be a second part to the roleplay of khan into moonlight, and will most likely help with some ideas to the second story.)

Luna saves khan and awakens him after his deep sleep and shows him a new life along side her. How would he feel about be awake again but now having some else in his life? Khan will have to find a way to wake up his family with her help it should be easy. What will his people think about the new family member and khan having a mate?

Summary: Layla had lost her Stephen but it seemed like in a distant universe a sinister one had his own plans. Now a familiar face making her heart beat all over again.

It had been months almost a year without him the great sorcerer supreme, her beloved Stephen. Doctor strange was known by everyone in the world who had thanked him for his sacrifice to save the world the universe. Though it caused him to leave his heart behind Layla Daemon. After letting go of Christen he had fallen in love with another sorcerer user on of dark shadows and devils of shadows.

He was everything to her just as she was to him, Stephen had thought he found the one to be with forever. The one that made him lose his fear of losing another person one that is just as stas him. But he had to let her go and watch her heart burn up with him that day he had died and disappeared. Nothing left of him behind except for the cloak, that he made promise to protect his love. The only thing left of him that still lingered with his sent.

The cloak never left her side and even cuddled her when she slept just to let her know that somewhere Stephen was still around. Layla walked around the sactum trying to clear her thoughts for the night. It was like every week she will fall into a depressed state and cry until there was nothing left. Her fingers grazed over the decor in the building and across the books that layer about the building where her Stephen had last left them. Wearing one of his grey colored shirts that was to big for her due to their size difference. Hearing her bare feet tap across the floor as she came up to the new york sactum window.

She looked out the window veiwing the city and nearby building and placed her hand to it staring at the statue of her Stephen built at the outside. Tears formed up in her eyes as she closed them and turned her face away. Her body caved into itself and she sat on the floor sitting on her legs and hugged herself. "Stephen....I miss you. It hurts to much. Its been hard without you. I just need you to hold me one last time. Please." Her sobs echo through the quiet room then nosies shifted behind her as the cloak wrapped itself around her.

Her had reached up to give it a pet and pulled the rest of it around her. The moon light casting on her body making her skin look even more pale. "Cloak it hurts." The cloak lifted her head as she opened her eyes and it wiping her tears away. She smiled a little then sucked in a deep breath to calm her self enough to at least try to sleep. But most of the time she couldn't when she falls into a heart ache.

She watched him drop the letters then looked at him seeing that he was finally showing some emotion even though he still tried to hide most of it. "I won't hurt you. I just want to know." Layla moved from her seat and brought her hands to his head. "Maybe I can help if I knew more." She closed her eyes tapping into his memory.

Her arms flexed as his memories flashed for her to see all to much and to fast for her to figure out what was happening. Until she saw him with a strange book and started to kill other stephens from different universes. Seeing the collapse of his world and the battle with another Stephen. Him getting impaled onto the fence then making he way to jump into the black hole devoring everything.

Her mind begin to race and heart beat faster thinking what if he had killed her Stephen. Heart begin to ache as she growled and begin to see the king flash up to her. Darkly laughing telling her over and over to kill him. She opened her eyes as claws formed on her right hand ready to slice him but yhe cloak quickly protected him.

The cloak wrapping its self around her hand and pulled her away dropping her to the floor. Her right eye had turned dragon like and the cloak floating between her and strange. "You killed so many. Did you take my Stephen away!"

She yelled out but her voice also sounded like something else was talking with her. Layla looked down to her hand seeing the black fingers that shaped into claws. Her face and body turned away from him sheilding her self from the shame. "Sorry did I hurt you?"

Her voice sounding soft as the cloak went over to hug her as tears formed in her eyes. "Why did you do all those things?"

Sinister tried to resist as she forced her mind through his memories- shit, he didn't mean to relive everything. He didn't want to watch all those events all over again...it was hurting him....those emotions were physically hurting him... Until it was finally over- she let go and- Her rage...he could feel it- his heart was racing...she was going to kill him, for sure- his eyes widened- he didn't want to die...he didn't...not now...not now that he had finally escaped...! When she was ready to attack him, he summoned dark magic in his hands, ready to attack her too, however, the Cloak intervened. He froze, curling a bit as he watched the variant of old friend protect him.

Then she...she seemed a bit calmer. She was asking why....why he had done all that. Why? Maybe...not even he knew why. "Because...I....couldn't stand...seeing myself...so pathetic...suffering...." He sighed, closed his eyes and lowered his head. Sinister knew that if she really wanted she could kill him. "When possessing other me...I killed myself...and...when I realized...I felt....better....seeing the death of...the other me....I felt better...I don't know why, but I felt better- he wasn't suffering anymore...he was just...gone. Gone form existence. Gone forever." He closed his eyes tighter- such a strong urge to cry hit him. "I don't know....I don't know..."

Layla looked away in shame feeling bad for the fact she just brought up all the trauma he had indore. "Stephen I am sorry." The cloak floated over to her and put part of itself under her chin to look up at it. As if a ghost of her Stephen was still there telling her it was alright.

She picked herself up off the floor and looked to strange. "I know you had your reasons in doing things like that. But seeing that you did not kill my Stephen in this world I will let you live."

She looked to the letters that had fallen during the commotion then walked over to pick them up. "I think I should tell you since you are going to be here for a while. What you saw that appeared on me was not me." Layla sat down across from him with a sigh and looked to him with her blue eyes staring at him.

"My realm had a king and he wanted to unleash our world on this on to take over destroy everything. Me and Stephen tried our best to protect the world but the only way the king could be stopped was taking his soul and locking it somewhere. But knowing that someone could just come up and release him again. I decided to devoure his soul to lock it inside of me. Though some times he comes out for a short time."

She leaned her laid her head back looking at the ceiling. "That was also why you saw haze here. Giving me a warning that some demon in my realm want the king to come back. So meaning there might be another war soon. And I am by myself this time."

She looked back at him and smirked then put up a hand making a blue music note. Her finger flicked it to him making a sound of dark sadden cello then hit him softly disappearing. "I like your taste in music. I saw the fight between you and another Stephen. Now I see why you had that big gash in your stomach."

Layla moved out of her seat and grabbed his hand saying "please no more killing other Stephens. Why do you feel so cold?"

Layla relaxed in the hot spring letting at a sigh as he words played in her head not the Stephen from this reality don't mix things up. She laid her head back feeling a shamed that her heart got the best of her. She missed everything about him but this strange was sinister and most likely did not care for her any way. After her bathing was done she went to the sanctum and put on just shorts and one of his shirts. She walked out to see strange laying on the bed curled up against him self.

He looked cold. The cloak flew over then laid over him to keep him warm. Thinking he was asleep she reached out a hand and placed it to his head fixing the mess of his hair. It looked longer and his beard longer with a point. She smirked quietly saying, "should had told Stephen to grow out his. It looks nice."

Then she felt a unsettling wave of energy that made her turn her head and let put a growl. This was not a so called friendly presence. "Cloak watch Stephen." Her eyes turned demon like and color of fire and walked put of the room the the main entrance of the sanctum. She heard a chuckle as a figure popped out from the shadows "hello my queen". Layla crossed her arms and walked down the steps looking at the man dark grey hair laid back, dark skin and demon eyes of red and purple eyes that glowed. "Haze." She said his name with annoyance and a bitter sound. "What do you want. You are not allowed here."

He chuckle fixing his vest walked around her. "I just wanted to visit you my dear. We all miss you. Besides its been a few months since we seen after your hubby died. What his name Stephen Strange, your love doctor." She growled and snapped at him "get his name out of your damn mouth." "Oh feisty I see why he liked you. Any way there has been talk around how some think you have lost a hold on our world, and you still hold the kings soul in you."

The cloak pushed strange to get up as it flew out of the room and quickly made it way to Layla and attacked the stranger. It pushed haze to the floor as he pulled out a crystal blade from his and and Layla stood in front of the cloak. She growled with the tip of the blade at her head. Fangs showed from her teeth, black claws, fire eyes glowing and a tail from from her. Her ears pointed and black marking formed around her eyes. "How dare you pull a blade in my home. Get out."

Haze let out a sigh stepping away and said "you are no fun. At least I see the queen is still lively hiding behind this human form. Come see me if you want to know what is happening. Good bye cloakie." Layla watched him disappear as she turned human again then hid her self in the cloak.

"Levi are you alright?" She got worried for the cloak and looked at it to make sure it was fine.

He felt a soft touch on his head...she was close...he could tell. But he didn't open his eyes, he continued to nap, calm and warmer under the Cloak.

Quiet. It was all so calm and quiet until..the Cloak moved him and left...and he felt an offensive presence...!!

She was being attacked??

Strange was quick to leave the bed and stand, the presence was downstairs!!

He jumped off the window and landed behind the enemy- his dark purple magic coming out from his hands to soften his landing-

And then-

He raised his hand, a purple fire forming under the enemy and violently raging upwards...but the enemy was gone....

...

He was too slow.

"Mngrr."

Stephen huffed, and looked away.

Why though...why did he...tried to protect her....? He didn't even have a dark shield around himself again just yet.

She looked over to strange seeing him there and noticed his purple flame. Was his magic purple. Layla walked closer to him with a smile and said "were you trying to protect me, Strange." She smirked at him crossing her arms. "You know the first time haze came Stephen my doctor did the same thing. Trying to protect me. But no worries all the being from my realm are rude and slightly aggressive."

She walked over to cloak and rubbed it like a animal seeing it cuddle into her hands. "Hey do you want to go pick up food with me. I know that Asian cuisine is your favorite. And again thanks."

Layla walked over to the coats and put on a leather jacket looking at him. "Or you could stay here. I don't mind." The cloak went to him then pulled him to go with her. "Cloak stop being so pushy. He can go if he wants to." Imp looked at him little feet tapping across the floor walking very to her then hopped into her jacket pocket.

"You know strange I won't bite." She turned the cloak into a scarf and placed it around his neck. "Can't believe I still remember to do that." She eyed his blue sorcerer outfit knew he will stand out. "Did you want to change first? If your going."

Protecting her...was the first thing the other Stephen had done as well...?

Wow. He sighed. They were more similar then he imagined. Well. Duh. They were...the same...

Strange looked away- damn. Why had him tried to do that- save her? Pffft. He barely knew her and she could protect herself. Anyway. Of course he didn't care.

Food....? Mnmgh...he missed some...- oh his favorite. Damn.

Quickly he transformed his clothes into casual ones- and the Cloak...his scard.

He gently touched it, resting his lower face against it, so warm. He had missed all of that.

"Fine. I'll join you."

She looked over him and blushed a little then looked away. "You had always looked good in casual clothing. I am so used to seeing the tunic so much its nice to see him being calm for once." Layla walked over and pulled him along to the outside of the sanctum. Her eyes landing on the statue that was built. Seeing the dark brass as his hands were turning gold from people touching it giving him respect. Her heart clenched as she gazed to it and saw a candle that was placed at it feet still burning but no wax has melted. "I placed that candle there since the day this was made. Its filled with magic and never goes out or melts."

She saw some cards left at the statue as well from people who cared about him. She continued walking takinga deep breath. "You know one time I fell asleep out here under his statue in the damn rain. Christien had drove by and saw me then had to chase me back inside."

They came up to the restaurant as the workers saw her and welcome her with bright smiles. "Double the usual", Layla said as they nodded but one worker was staring at strange trying to figure out something. She looked him then turned his body to face away then leaned closer to him as if they were together. "Sorry we came here all the time they know Stephen. I don't want them to start pointing fingers." Soon their food was done and she moved away from him taking the food and telling them thank you in their language. They left walking back smelling the food as her stomach begin to growl. "Damn I am hungry."

When they got back she placed it out on the kitchen table and took her seat by him and started to eat. She stuffed food in her mouth as imp took a piece of chicken to eat. She growled at him then made a tiny plate for him. "Spoiled animal." She looked to strange and smiled slightly and said "is it good?"

Oh. So people knew him there. Walking around like that could be amazinglt stupid...he didn't want to be noticed...

But something caught his attention. The candle...and...so many letters...

On the way back, he gathered all the letters and took them inside, holding them almost...dearly. He was so curious to know...what the letters said.

Layla was...so sunny...- he knew how sad she was...but even so she kept smiling to him...and...so far...he couldn't smile. At all. He had been sad and angry for years...

The smell...food...he was so hungry. As soon as he sat, he started to eat. Real food....mnmm....he closed his eyes and savored. He was starting to feel alive again after so long.

She ate then looked over the letters seeing them and smiled at them reading the nice and leveling things they said about him. Layla stood up and walked to strange and pushed the letters to him. "You want to read them." She laced them in front and smirked. "They say a lot of nice things about you. I feel like you deserve to see it."

Layla ate more of her food then looked over him. "I didn't expect you to pick up the letters. Thank you." She looked away and petted the cloak as it turned back to its normal self. "I am going to go do my walk around the sanctum I will be back."

She left him alone as imp went to follow her through the halls. Her hands checking the relics making sure everything is in their place. She went into a garden room and started to water the plants. Seeing the colors of flowers and the herbs she planted used for her medical and craft.

Layla let out a sigh feeling excited to have a Stephen here but still hurt cause it wasn't her Stephen. Its not like he even wants her he knows nothing about her and knows nothing of him. Kinda like when she first met Stephen. They didn't trust eachother but she grew closer to him. Maybe she could get closer to this strange and spark something.

She went into their room and started to talk to herself. "No its stupid I am loyal to my Stephen." She landed on the bed and barrier her face into the pillow. "Stephen would you be upset if I moved on? Would you hate me forever?" Imp chirped and sat on her back.

His hand touched the pile of letters, his eyes apparently so distant. "These aren't for me....I was....just curious." He pouted and looked away. Indeed...the letters weren't to him per se...and...if most people knew the things he had done, maybe they wouldn't even send letters... But anyway... He was curious to know what his other self had been capable of accomplishing... Strange started to read the letters, one by one... And all of them...full of gratitude. He wasn't sure why...but he felt warmer...and the guilt he thought he had long buried was starting to weight on his back a bit more than usual. "Right." Sinister said as he watched her leave. He ate everything he could, cleaned the bowls- until he was full. It had been so long he hadn't eaten...his stomach was almost hurting...but it was a good sensation. Slowly he took the letters and walked to a corner, near the fireplace....mnmm so warm....so comfy.... He relaxed on a pile of pillows that were on the carpet, holding the letters, he started to open and read one by one.

The letters showed all their gratitude towards Stephen from this realm. So many people in the area missed him dearly and kids always wanted to be like him to help people with cool magic spells. People always showed their respect to him even if he wasn't here.

It was late already time flies by when your mind races Layla got up to look out the window. Seeing some kids play around on the statue taking pictures. She let put a growl hoping they don't mess with it like some did before. Sometimes she would see tag marks on Stephen, guessing that some humans have no respect.

She turned and made her way to strange as imp followed and she stopped in the door way looking him sitting in the chair. He was reading the letters almost like if he was really here and reading books. Walking over to him then pulled up a chair to sit down in front of him and leaned over.

"Am I making a mistake letting you stay here or do I have to end up getting rid of you. Deep down i really do not want to do that. But if something bad is going to happen then I have no choice." She looked over him seeing his cold eyes then let put a sigh.

"Stephen what did you do? In your realm, what happened? I need to well I want to know. If you are going to stay here then I need to know about you."

She raised up her hands with palms facing eachother as a white light shined between them. "If you won't talk I will have no problem forcing it out you, by seeing your memories." She smirked at him and waited for his response.

But he had to let her go and watch her heart burn up with him that day he had died and disappeared. Nothing left of him behind except for the cloak, that he made promise to protect his love. The cloak never left her side and even cuddled her when she slept just to let her know that somewhere Stephen was still around. Layla walked around the sactum trying to clear her thoughts for the night. It was like every week she will fall into a depressed state and cry until there was nothing left. Her fingers grazed over the decor in the building and across the books that layer about the building where her Stephen had last left them. Wearing one of his grey colored shirts that was to big for her due to their size difference. Hearing her bare feet tap across the floor as she came up to the new york sactum window.

She looked out the window veiwing the city and nearby building and placed her hand to it staring at the statue of her Stephen built at the outside. The cloak never left her side and even cuddled her when she slept just to let her know that somewhere Stephen was still around. Layla walked around the sactum trying to clear her thoughts for the night. It was like every week she will fall into a depressed state and cry until there was nothing left. Her fingers grazed over the decor in the building and across the books that layer about the building where her Stephen had last left them. Wearing one of his grey colored shirts that was to big for her due to their size difference. Hearing her bare feet tap across the floor as she came up to the new york sactum window.

She looked out the window veiwing the city and nearby building and placed her hand to it staring at the statue of her Stephen built at the outside. Tears formed up in her eyes as she closed them and turned her face away. Her body caved into itself and she sat on the floor sitting on her legs and hugged herself. "Stephen....I miss you. It hurts to much. Its been hard without you. I just need you to hold me one last time. Please." Her sobs echo through the quiet room then nosies shifted behind her as the cloak wrapped itself around her.

Her had reached up to give it a pet and pulled the rest of it around her. The moon light casting on her body making her skin look even more pale. "Cloak it hurts." The cloak lifted her head as she opened her eyes and it wiping her tears away. She smiled a little then sucked in a deep breath to calm her self enough to at least try to sleep. But most of the time she couldn't when she falls into a heart ache.

Layla looked over to him and nodded, "yes that should be good for you I guess feel free to uhh go ahead and use the shower. And i guess you can use his clothes since you don't have any." She rubbed the back of her neck and looked away at the floor. The cloak moved off him then flew over to her then hugged her as she smiled and cuddle it. "You happy to see a Stephen here."

She watched the cloak fly over to strange and wrapped around him happily to have him around. Though Layla wasn't even sure if he could stay in this universe if him being here could cause a problem. She wasn't that advice to know how to fix a broken universe if that happens.

When he took his leave she stayed in the room and laid back down. She pulled out a picture from under the pillow and looked at seeing the last one of her and her Stephen. She held it in her hand and soon fell asleep while the cloak stayed with her and covered her. Her body still wanted more rest and it didn't help when her nightmares acted up.

Imp had come back small seeing her sleep the looked to the cloak sticking its tongue out. He ran to the bathroom the cloak chasing it but imp phased through the door into the bathroom with strange. It stared at him and hissed but then started to talk to him. With rapsy dark male voice allowing strange to hear it.

"If you hurt her I will be sure your death is not satisfying the way you humans would like it. That is if our realm doesn't get to you first for the loss of our queen. I do not like your intentions here Stephen you are not her Stephen your just a strange not the one. But if some how you find a way in her heart I will then be more worried if I were you. She is a lot more dangerous than you think."

Imp chirped then walked away out of the shower back to Layla and slept by her again.

Strange took some of his other self's clothes from the drawer and stripped down- his body still had purple and dark bruises but no scars- dark energy had healed all the wounds perfectly- except for the ones he already had before becoming a sorcerer- that is, his hands. He turned the water on, warm... Stephen relaxed under it, closing his eyes- strong dark circles under his eyes. "Mngh...." Strange was about to make a hand sign to use some magic to heal himself but the imp- He narrowed his eyes, staring it. "What...how dare you...menace me like that...." Strange got pissed...but...his body ached... Better not find a conflict now... The marks of when he got impaled were closed and red, still healing... Imp looked at strange then back to Layla and let out a heavy breath then whisper a unknown language. It turned into a small imp cat size and a more human demon face a pointed ears. It hopped onto the table and sat across the table staring at this Stephen. "Excuse you sir what to mean traitor." Imp looked to her and closed it eyes turnings its head away. Layla started to have a conversation with it. "You know you have some nerve saying that. He came from another universe. No he can't go back its gone." She went back to cooking finishing the food then brought the first plate to him.

The plate had eggs, sour dough toast with raspberry jam, and bacon. "Hope that is enough for you". She sat down in a seat across from him with her own plate as inp stole a strip of bacon from her and started to eat it. She scoffed mumbling "bastard". She begin to eat and glanced up to him. "So what kind of Stephen are you. Are you famous like Iron swag or running around traveling through different realms or the evil one with extra tricks up his sleeve. I had dreams with a not very well Stephen he uhh killed me and had regretted it. He lost control. Knowing this Stephen told me we dream of our other self from different realities. Makes me think I did not do my part to keep he safe."

Layla felt like she said to much and looked away. "Sorry if I said to much. The only ever person I talk to is Wong or the other best thing the cloak." The cloak wiggled a bit still staying by stephens side. She looked at it and leaned against the table looking at them two. "See imp the cloak likes this Stephen."

Her eyes looked so tiered as she struggled to stay awake even with the food in her system. She was still sleep deprived she had been awake for almost 2 days now. Layla closed her eyes for a moment almost laying her head down but then sat back up. "Shit. My bad. I been awake for two days now. I never get much sleep anymore."

Layla stood up taking her plate and placed it in the sink letting out a sigh. "I would say if you want a tour of the place but this is your domaine in a way. That also means I need to figure out where I am sleeping."

Food. So much food. The scent....the colors...OH THE COLORS... There was so much color...the yellow of the eggs... Strange gulped- he felt his eyes get so wet...why...why was he feeling all that... Stephen took a deep breath... Emotions...he had been so...in apathy...for so long... Even killing had become...empty. He started to eat- so fast at first- until he paused...and continued to eat calmly, but still clearly hungry. So good...the taste... Tears rolled down his face- How long since...he had eaten...he didn't know... The Cloak...it was so close to him... He extended his arm and grabbed it, pulling it closer, over to his shoulders, where the cloak was supposed to be...and he curled under it, a bit... So warm...that sensation...that shelter... .... Uh? What kind of Stephen he was??? Oh no... He took another deep breath. Keep cool.... "I'm quite sure I have never seen you before." Stephen said simply- it was true. At least she had met...corrupted versions of himself before...she...maybe she wouldn't be so scared if she found out he was one. ... "I do have...some tricks in my sleeves..." His eyes moved to her. She seemed so tired. He was already done eating and he was getting so sleepy.... "But I am....as...as I said. From a crumbling reality I failed to protect..." His shoulders curled a bit. Why was he feeling...that...distant pain... "I...was there for a very long time....I changed a lot." He said, his voice low but so...sharp, as if it held so much bitterness and sadness and hate and frustration. "You also look very tired." Strange's eyes were so heavy... She turned quickly seeing him black out and go limp in his seat as the cloak caught him before he fell. She let out a huff then had the cloak bring him to what used to be his room. The cloak laid him on the bed as she tensed up. It has been awhile since Stephen has been in bed. Her eyes went sad and heavy looking at him. "Well at least he got food and now sleeping."

Layla was about to go to her conjure room but the cloak stopped her and pointed to strange. She looked at it and shook her head as imp sat in between them. "No I am not sleeping in the bed with him". She closed her eyes feeling drained and almost fell over.

The cloak scooped her up and placed her on the bed next to him. Imp started to chirp and pounce on the cloak upset about the situation. Soon as Layla hit the bed she went to sleep as the cloak laid on top of her like a blanket. Imp curled into a ball sleeping by her feet like a cat would. Though her sleep was not great when she begin to have night mares of her beloved Stephen.

Her body started to twitch as she let out grunt noises and discomfort on her face. Remembering the time that her Stephen was attacked and almost killed but this time she couldn't save him. Seeing die in her arms then he was dragged away by the demons in her realm.

She yelled out his name and woke up sitting up in a panic breathing hard. Looking over at the other strange then looked away having tears down her face as she covered herself with the cloak. "Stephen". A soft call of his name as she hid in the cloak away from this new strange not wanting him to see how much she felt alone.

He dreamed with the battle he had fought, not too long ago, musical spells, impact and then...crashing though the window and getting impaled- the other Stephen hadn't appeared in his dream though.

Strange woke up panting. Had she seen some of his nightmare as well...?

She....she was saying his name...? She was awake too...so close!!!

He looked around- that imp...

Unf. Better be alert around it.

The spirits and demons I hold in me like to change my dreams to how I feel. Its really rude."

Imp looked to her then rubbed against her like a cat and chirped. "Be a good boy and go check on the realm make sure none are coming out antagonizing people." Imp got larger to its cloud cat form then walked away phasing through a door. Layla walked over next to strange and crossed her arms looking out the window with him. "Do you miss Christine?"

The cloak flew over and tapped on him then rested itself on him. Layla looked at it in shock to what it was doing. "Levi what are you doing?" She looked at them to feeling her heart beat faster as she looked away. "With it being dark in here and you looking a little more broken than my Stephen. A sinister strange." She let out a slight chuckle.

Then the cloak moved to wrap its self around her pulling her into his body. She quickly moved away saying "no Levi don't please." She started to tear up again and looked away mumbling. "Its not the same." Layla moved away and walked over to his dresser staring off in the distance.

Summary: Layla had lost her Stephen but it seemed like in a distant universe a sinister one had his own plans. Now a familiar face making her heart beat all over again.

It had been months almost a year without him the great sorcerer supreme, her beloved Stephen. Doctor strange was known by everyone in the world who had thanked him for his sacrifice to save the world the universe. Though it caused him to leave his heart behind Layla Daemon. After letting go of Christen he had fallen in love with another sorcerer user on of dark shadows and devils of shadows.

He was everything to her just as she was to him, Stephen had thought he found the one to be with forever. The one that made him lose his fear of losing another person one that is just as stas him. But he had to let her go and watch her heart burn up with him that day he had died and disappeared. Nothing left of him behind except for the cloak, that he made promise to protect his love. The only thing left of him that still lingered with his sent.

The cloak never left her side and even cuddled her when she slept just to let her know that somewhere Stephen was still around. Layla walked around the sactum trying to clear her thoughts for the night. It was like every week she will fall into a depressed state and cry until there was nothing left. Her fingers grazed over the decor in the building and across the books that layer about the building where her Stephen had last left them. Wearing one of his grey colored shirts that was to big for her due to their size difference. Hearing her bare feet tap across the floor as she came up to the new york sactum window.

She looked out the window veiwing the city and nearby building and placed her hand to it staring at the statue of her Stephen built at the outside. Tears formed up in her eyes as she closed them and turned her face away. Her body caved into itself and she sat on the floor sitting on her legs and hugged herself. "Stephen....I miss you. It hurts to much. Its been hard without you. I just need you to hold me one last time. Please." Her sobs echo through the quiet room then nosies shifted behind her as the cloak wrapped itself around her.

Her had reached up to give it a pet and pulled the rest of it around her. The moon light casting on her body making her skin look even more pale. "Cloak it hurts." The cloak lifted her head as she opened her eyes and it wiping her tears away. She smiled a little then sucked in a deep breath to calm her self enough to at least try to sleep. But most of the time she couldn't when she falls into a heart ache.

I had dreams with a not very well Stephen he uhh killed me and had regretted it. He lost control. Knowing this Stephen told me we dream of our other self from different realities. Makes me think I did not do my part to keep he safe."

Layla felt like she said to much and looked away. "Sorry if I said to much. The only ever person I talk to is Wong or the other best thing the cloak." The cloak wiggled a bit still staying by stephens side. She looked at it and leaned against the table looking at them two. "See imp the cloak likes this Stephen."

Her eyes looked so tiered as she struggled to stay awake even with the food in her system. She was still sleep deprived she had been awake for almost 2 days now. Layla closed her eyes for a moment almost laying her head down but then sat back up. "Shit. My bad. I been awake for two days now. I never get much sleep anymore."

Layla stood up taking her plate and placed it in the sink letting out a sigh. "I would say if you want a tour of the place but this is your domaine in a way. That also means I need to figure out where I am sleeping."
