Home Within The Mural |-| Soohyun & Eli
Letting Eli snuggle back down against him, Soohyun returned to running his fingers through the soft blond locks against his chin, smiling softly at how relaxed and out of style they were. After he’d helped the Ravenclaw get clean after arriving at his house, Soohyun had simply gathered him close, dried him off, dressed him and tucked him away in his arms without another word. And now, the dyed strands were slightly wavy from sleep and lack of styling and it made Soohyun heart clench at how beautiful his Eagle looked in his relaxed state, something which until that moment, he didn’t realise how much he’d missed. He really wished he was still able to see Eli’s eyes, the blond was incredibly expressive, with deep pools that changed colour slightly almost as if dependent on his mood, and until that morning Eli’s eyes had been terrifyingly blank.
Closing his own eyes, Soohyun continued to hold Eli against his chest, listening to the soft sounds of the blond’s breathing, slightly snuffly in his still half-asleep state, and the slight rustle of clothing as he moved, fingers running across Soohyun’s sleeve, the Gryffindor’s fingers twitching slightly as Eli caught the skin of his wrist slightly as he did, the Ravenclaw’s skin such a stark contrast in temperature and texture against his own. So caught up in the feel of his Eagle breathing in time with him, Soohyun barely registered the quietly spoken words, quickly blinking his eyes open as he finally realised the blond had spoken, and, had he imagined him making a joke?
"mm..Yes we are love." Soohyun murmured, closing his eyes once again as he managed to work out what had been whispered against his chest, hands spanning fingers protectively as far as possible around his Eagle. "My home, my room, my bed. Just us. My sister down in her wing, the house elves probably bouncing round the house, singing to themselves like they always do." He added, smiling despite himself. He normally spent the holidays alone, or with his sister, trying to coax her out of her rooms to enjoy the ridiculously vast gardens they had, simply to put them to use. But now he had his Eli, and he had so many plans for them this summer, he was going to make sure his blond eagle didn’t have enough time to feel bad about his parents, only had happy memories and thoughts.
Eli kept his ear pressed to Soohyun’s chest, the steady and solid rhythm of his boyfriend’s heart an aide in keeping his grip on reality. With each word, a gentle vibration ran through the elder’s body, crossing over into Eli’s limbs where they remained tucked closely to the Gryffindor. He couldn’t believe it, rather he could, but it was quite hard to imagine. Soohyun’s home, a large sprawling manor they had talked about for quite lengthy amounts of time. But as he quietly looked at the luxurious blankets they were nestled amongst, it slowly began to sink into his subconscious that this was indeed his boyfriend’s bedroom. Not that he didn’t believe Soohyun of course, he was just a bit frazzled and didn’t fully trust his own perception.
"Soo," he murmured, lifting his head slightly and feeling as if everything seemed a bit heavier than usual. "I’m on top of you," he stated. Really he hadn’t even noticed until his attention had come down to the rise and fall of the surface on which he was lying and the arms stretched protectively across his upper and lower back. But the more his mind worked through the haziness of the night, the more acutely aware of his surroundings he was becoming. "Heavy?" he questioned softly, still not up to par with his normal speech just yet. But at the moment, he hoped he was understood because he certainly didn’t want to be putting his lion in a situation of discomfort on his behalf.
