In regards to Sungmin and the re-vamp... ☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆
Please disregard my post prior to this regarding Sungmin's re-vamp. After thinking about it I decided to make some more changes to his character and these changes may effect current/planned relationships. ㅠㅠ New Sungmin will be a little more complex with an in-depth back story. A lot of details I've only mentioned to the admins/mods because I want them to be a secret. I also can't reveal a lot of his background prior to the re-vamp because there are other surprises in store. I feel like it will be more interesting for him to interact with other characters if both the role-player and the character are working things out together. One thing that I can say is that there will be two sides of him. This is mostly why I haven't been on to respond to paras this week. ㅠㅠ I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but I really wanted to use the re-vamp as a chance to make him more in-depth and interesting and hopefully create better plots too!
Simple plots such as tutee and Quidditch friends can remain the same. ^^;
Matters of the Heart「Sungmin♚ Hyomin」
"What…" She tried to not to laugh, his expression wasn’t this playful before. When he pulled her closer she immeditaelly kissed him back, she felt like she was melting in his arms. After a while she pulled back and chuckled at Sungmin. “Why did I get it?"
His lips pursed into a smile upon her question. "Because I love you." He simply stated, his eyes forming cute crescent moons upon his sincere smile. After he spoke he leaned closer, finding her lips again that he so longed to kiss. As long as Hyomin was there all seemed right in the world to Sungmin.
Matters of the Heart「Sungmin♚ Hyomin」
Hyomin chuckled quietly as Sungmin blushed, he was incredibly cute at that moment. “You are so cute I can’t…" She shook her head and caressed his cheek in a smooth way. She raised an eyebrow as he beknocked her. “What?" She asked but leaned closer to him with a smile on her face. “What is it love?"
"Closer..closer" He chuckled, biting his lip to prevent further grinning. Once she was close enough he grabbed her face and pulled her closer, pressing a sloppy kiss against her lips.
Matters of the Heart「Sungmin♚ Hyomin」
"Mr. Lee is a kid!" She added with a laughter along. She watched him happily eating, it was good to see him this fine again, it almost broke her heart that he was in such a state… “Hey live slow down!" She tried to stop him from eating too fast but seemed like she wasn’t enough fast. Hyomin stared at her fiancée and brusted out in laughter, his mouth was covered by food. She took a napkin and started to wipe the food from his mouth. “See, I said to slow down." She ruffled his hair once he leaned back and pouted that his tummy was upset.
A blush tinted his cheeks as she wiped his mouth. Afterwards he licked his lips, looking back at her like a troublesome child with an innocent gaze. "Thank youuu." He cooed, a bright smile forming across his lips. He sat back upright once his stomach had adjusted and beckoned Hyomin over, a mischievous grin resting on his lips. "Hyomin-ah!" He called her name as he did so, wanting her to come closer as if he had something secretive to tell her.
→ The Problem With Potions || Dawson & Sungmin
Now Sungmin was acting shady. Hyun Jae was far from stupid, and he knew that stuttering, panicked faffing and wild eyes didn’t amount to nothing — they initially accumulate because of something. His eyes hardend instinctively upon being lied to, but he stayed quiet, wondering how to avoid confrontation in a round about way while still discussing the issue. He’d caught that it was a potion yes, and it had something to do with werewolves… Was Sungmin searching for a permanent cure? Why? Did it effect him or his family? Or maybe he was getting paid, he was a smart boy afterall. One who usually stayed out of trouble. Hyun Jae pushed forward his book, keeping his eyes locked on Sungmin in a manner that clearly implied he hadn’t forgotten, and wouldn’t be doing so for a very long time. “I don’t get a lot of it to be honest." He raised one eyebrow, shrugging to himself.
Deep down he knew that Hyun Jae didn't believe him. He could see it in his eyes. A gulp ran down his throat but he tried to maintain a somewhat normal expression to cover his tracks. Clearing his throat, Sungmin tried to distract his attention to tutoring again. "Oh, you don't?" He frowned slightly, feeling bad for the boy. "We need to find somewhere to start at least. Which topic did you feel least comfortable with? That could be a good start?" Sungmin suggested, handing his notebook to Hyun Jae so he could flick through it. If there's a particular potion you have trouble with maybe we could brew it together and find out where you are going wrong?" Sungmin suggested with a nod of his head.
Matters of the Heart「Sungmin♚ Hyomin」
Hyomin watched him as he was trying to sit up it seemed that we was much much better now. “I knew you were a strong guy!" A chuckle escaped her lips however she frowned when Sungmin didn’t even remember he had fallen asleep or anything from the last day. Though she missed him back wih a chuckle, she didn’t want to ruin the moment. She only leaned back when the nurse cleared her throat behind them, she brought Sungmin’s breakfast. “Mr Lee must be hungry." The nurse chuckled and placed the food in front of Sungmin. “Here you go Mr Lee." With this she left with a smile on her face, letting the two alone.
"Mr.Lee is starving!" Sungmin chuckled, rubbing his hands together at the sight of food as it was placed before him. Like a hungry wolf he tucked into the plate with a speed that would surely upset his stomach later. It wasn't long before he had half his food running down his chin from his sloppy eating. He looked up at Hyomin with a faint chuckle, smiling like a child as he met her gaze; gravy covering his mouth as he resembled a toddler at feeding time. It wasn't long before all the food had been demolished and he leaned back into bed with a groan, having eaten too fast. He frowned, his tummy now upset.
Matters of the Heart「Sungmin♚ Hyomin」
"Hey, you look much better." She chuckled and took his hand into hers as she sat beside his bed. She completely ignored the nurse and her gaze was clinging on Sungmin’s pale face, though his eyes and lips were smiling. “Good to see you are better!" She sighed and ruffled his hair. “How did you sleep?" She wasn’t sure if he remembered to his mom’s visit or not but she decided to not to tell or ask him about it yet. “Thank you." Hyomin smiled at the nurse before she left then turned back to Sungmin. She leaned closer and pecks his lips gently.
"I hope so!" Sungmin chuckled back, squeezing her hand as he sat upright in the bed. It took a few attempts, but he eventually managed to prop himself up against the pillow. "I promised you I would." He beamed, giving her a bright smile. He frowned slightly at the mention of sleep, he only remembered that he'd had a string of nightmares about events he'd rather forget. Instead, he simply nodded and smiled as he didn't want to worry her further. The kiss however, was sweet and tender. He'd missed her kisses and eagerly kissed her back.
infatuation ( ` sungmin x fumiya )
It’s the twelfth day this month since his first trip to the quidditch pitch. The field was empty but she should be here in about fifteen minutes and; he glanced at his watch; twenty seconds. Smiling giddily, the expression of an excited ten year old painted over his face as he skipped his way down to his seat of preference. One he had handpicked so meticulously so he can see her face easily through his little antique gold binoculars. He set the peepers first on the seat next to him, took out his handkerchief and wiped the bleachers clean of any non-visible germs before he took a seat there. His feet drumming in pure elation as he waited impatiently for the Slytherin goddess to make her appearance.
He didn’t quite know since when he started doing this, he didn’t even know her name or her year. He followed her around the school from the corner of his eyes. Bliss blossomed in his chest when their paths accidentally crossed each other and sighed his disappointment when the didn’t. Maybe it was the first time he saw her flying freely in the pitch; away from other’s eyes, her laughter filled up the air and caressed his heart like the bell of the shrine near his house. She looked like a bird, felt like a bird. An epitome of freedom, something a caged bird like him had never experienced. Maybe that’s what attracted him to her in the first place, how she seemed like nothing held her down.
Smiling at the thought of the Slyterin quidditch captain. He stilled his body and exhaled slowly in order to calm his thumping heart. It’ll be okay, he mused silently. Nobody would notice me today too.And with that last affirmation to himself, he looked up as the practice began. His hands slowly rose to hold his binoculars in place.
Sungmin had recently been discharged from the hospital which, sadly for him, meant not Quidditch for a while. He could still however join in on training sessions with his team mates and Hyomin, for moral support at least. He was running a little late, but he knew she wouldn't mind. Usually there weren't many spectators to the practices but, occasionally the odd prospective player or two would appear in the stalls. That day there was only one other spectator, who strangely enough had brought a pair of binoculars with her. Sungmin found this rather peculiar but, at the same time shrugged off any bizarreness to his behaviour thinking perhaps he wanted to examine the players techniques. Usually Sungmin preferred the play Quidditch over watching it but sadly, he was otherwise compromised.
Sungmin sat down next to the boy, thinking little of it and after a few moments decided to spur up a conversation with him. "Hey, are you thinking about joining the team?" Sungmin asked placing his hand gently on the boys shoulder to get his attention, wondering which position the boy seemed to prefer. He appeared to be studying the players very closely with his binoculars in an almost admiring way.
Matters of the Heart「Sungmin♚ Hyomin」
After Sungmin had fallen asleep his mother left the room with her usual cold expression. Hyomin had stayed in his room and fall asleep as well. The next morning she woke up by the nurse who came in to check on Sungmin. She smiled at her suggest on talking a walk and finds something for breakfast and she rose to her feet, as a pregnant lady she had to think about the baby as well and Sungmin seemed to be fine anyway. She made her way to the cafeteria, which seemed to be quite modern and her tummy made noises as the smell of cakes and coffee hit her nose. She quickly bought a sandwich, a cake and a big cup of coffee for herself and sat down to have her breakfast. As she finished she made her way back to Sungmin room, finding him awake, she smiled softly at him and sat down beside his bed. “Hey love."
"Hyomin-ah." He beamed with a bright smile the moment she walked into the room despite his cold complexion. Sungmin held out his hands, making grabby motions at her to come and sit with him like a child. His mood was definitely brighter even if he was still weak. The nurse laughed, commenting that she was happy to see him look cheerier that day. "Ah, I'm hungry!" Sungmin pouted, patting his belly through the sheets as he licked his lips. "I'll be back with your breakfast soon." The nurse chuckled, patting him on the head lightly before she made her way out of the room to give the couple some privacy.
Matters of the Heart「Sungmin♚ Hyomin」
Hyomin nodded as well and rested her hand on Sungmin’s cheek. “Of course I will. I’ll never leave you." She murmured back as well and pecked his forehead. Once he was fallen asleep. She looked up at the woman and pulled a sly grin onto her face. “I’m still not scared of you." She said firmly and rolled her eyes as she was more busy with the perfume. She slid her hand down to take Sungmin’s hand and laced their fingers together. “The only thing I don’t say anymore because Sungmin wouldn’t ever rebel against you because he is such a sweetheart but I’m not scared of you. If I have to fight for him I will. I’m a Slytherin. I’ll never give up." She said firmly and with pride in her eyes.
When Sungmin woke up the next day his mother had gone and he had no memory of her visit. All he could remember was Hyomin being by his side. As he woke up he slowly took off his mask, taking a deep breath of air that his lungs seemed to be able to handle now. The mask rested at the side of his face as he did so. He still felt battered and bruised internally but at least breathing had become a less difficult task on his own. A nurse was by his bedside, checking the monitors and gasped lightly when she discovered he was awake. "Good morning Mr.Lee!" She smiled, carefully adjusting his pillow. "We should be able to get that tube out of you in a few hours." She explained, patting his chest lightly before she returned to jotting down notes on his charts. "Where's Hyomin...?" Sungmin asked, his voice still a little weak but more audible now. "Don't you worry Mr.Lee, she's still here." The nurse chuckled, finding the fact that his first words each time he awoke would always be Hyomin. "She probably just went out to grab a bite to eat."
Matters of the Heart「Sungmin♚ Hyomin」
When Sungmin started to whimper she glared at his mother, it was her fault anyway, there was no need to talk about such thing like Christine and the past. She stared at the woman with narrowed eyes and shook her head. “I’m not afraid of you." She said through her teeth and shook her head again. “I won’t lose him, I will make this sure." She nodded firmly and her expression immediatelly changed as Sungmin reached for her. She gently pushed him back and shook her head again. “No, love. You need to say still. Okay? Just don’t move, rest okay?" She smiled softly at him and caressed his cheeks again. She almost forgot about his mother.
Upon Hyomin's actions Sungmin gently nodded, frustrated by the fact he couldn't embrace her in his condition. His hand slowly reached for her own that caressed his cheek and sheepishly rested atop of it. "Stay with me.." He murmured softly, his eyes slowly beginning to shut again as his hand gingerly slipped from her own onto the bed. Sungmin's mother on the other hand huffed slightly, not liking that her son had completely ignored her presence. "I'd be careful young lady, I can easily change my mind about our arrangement. Sungmin will marry who I please, not whom you please." The lady scolded her, flicking back her hair as she reached into her bag to find her perfume. She hated the smell of hospitals, to her it smelt like disease and death so she quickly sprayed herself before placing the bottle back in her bag.
Matters of the Heart「Sungmin♚ Hyomin」
At that point Hyomin pulled the cold expression as well and straightened her back in her seat. As a Slytherin she was too proud to swallow these things down. “Excuse me." She pulled her nose up and shook her head. “I am myself and I don’t care about how Christine was back then." She hissed in a rather cold tone. “Sungmin loves me for myself and that’s enough for me." She continued, her eyes narrowed at the woman. “But if you are that worried you can talk to my parents." She nodded her eyes slid back to Sunngmin. She smiled at him softly then looked back at the woman with the same cold expression. “But I don’t think this is the time for this, since my fiancée and your son lays here. I don’t think it helps that we fight against each other at his bed."
Upon the name Christine, Sungmin appeared to be immediately distressed and let out a short whimper. The name reminded him of the wolf from his dreams with it's sharp white teeth and eyes glowing red. He squeezed his mothers hand, purely because it was there. "It's okay my dear, shh, shh." She attempted to sooth him, gently patting his hand. "You should watch your tongue young lady." His mother huffed, her attention immediately returning to Hyomin with an unamused glare. "I made this arrangement and I can easily take it away." She threatened, not wanting Hyomin to think she could get away with talking about her in such a way. "Hyomin.." Sungmin groaned, wriggling his hand free from his mothers as he reached towards Hyomin. Although he was unable to sit up still, that did't stop him from trying.
Matters of the Heart「Sungmin♚ Hyomin」
The way the woman acted she couldn’t actually believed it was really his mother. She always imagined someone rigid. Slowly she slid her hands back and dropped them into her lap and blinked at the woman. She bit on her lower lip and nodded, she wasn’t sure if she liked her, her appearance or not but Sungmin was more importante at that moment. Hyomin was completely confused, maybe even more as Sungmin was. She knew she might look stupid but she was too worried about him and shocked by his mother.
His mother looked Hyomin up and down, examining her features before her lips parted to speak. "Hm. Well at least you're pretty. There is hope for my grandchildren yet." The woman huffed, her tone rather cold in comparison with how she had just spoken to her son. In fact, the way she was speaking to Sungmin was rather unusual. He usually received the exact same tone Hyomin was. "I must admit, I was surprised by my sons letter requesting the arranged marriage especially now, since meeting you." The lady leaned back in her seat with a sigh, still holding her son's hand. She seemed to have made an opinion on her almost immediately. "You're pretty, but you're not perfect. Your posture is slouched and your manners could do with some fine tuning. Christine, now she was the perfect match for him. We spent years arranging that marriage. Every little detail, only for her to go running off into the woods and get eaten by, oh what was it now? A bear, or something. Foolish girl almost got my son eaten in the process." The lady shook her head with a tut. "Such a shame, they would have given me marvellous grandchildren."
Matters of the Heart「Sungmin♚ Hyomin」
Another sigh escaped her lips as Sungmin stopped when she scold him and smiled at him softly. She didn’t even see the nurse’s gaze at them, she was more busy with her fiancée. “Shh, I’m here." She smiled but suddenly her smile turned into a frown as a woman brusted into the room. Hyomin blinked for several times, the woman looked quite young and somewhat similar to Sungmin. Her gaze followed the woman as she pushed the nurse out of her way, since she had never seen his mother she couldn’t recognise her. Hyomin just sat there and blinked back at Sungmin with the equal confused expression.
"Who-who is this.." Sungmin asked, his voice shaking slightly as he looked back and forth from the woman to Hyomin. "It's your mother sweetheart." The lady cooed, her thumb gently stroking his hand as she held it. "I take it you are the Hyomin I've heard so much about?" His mother asked, looking to Hyomin with an almost accusative tone. It wasn't clear whether or not she liked her from her tone alone. "M-m-mother." Sungmin stuttered with a cough, clutching his chest as he did so. "Yes, yes, baby." His mother continued to coo, gently pressing her hand to his forehead to check his temperature. "Oh dear, you have a fever." She sighed with worry, shaking her head. Sungmin continued to look at Hyomin with a positively horrified expression, an expression that only grew larger the more his mother fussed over him.
