university is just. it's you, your laptop and your water bottle against the world
big things we shouldn’t take for granted:
• waking up in the morning
• getting to and from places safely
• having a decent/good relationship with your parents
• your loved ones being alive and safe
• your pets being healthy and alive
• having decent/good mental health
• having good friends who check up on you
• living in a safe neighborhood
• being able to buy the things you want
• having a stable job
• being in good health
• being in a loving relationship

Wow, these days my positivity is surprising me. I’m super energetic and always working on some initiative. I’m incredibly motivated…
The thing that is existing me mostly in these days is my new YouTube channel: and my first 2 uploaded Vlogs! I’m working so hard on it and all the process is taking me so much time and energy, but I really hope that it’s gonna worth it!
Anyway, in the pics you can see my 2019 Overview pages and the watercolour paint on which I worked yesterday… I love how it’s coming, what do you think?
(PS: on my blog you will find tge links to my videos♡ let me know your opinion!!)
I'm 36 and I've been studying from time to time after work just for the pleasure of it my whole life, maths and science during the last year. Last week, I decided to do it more «officially» and I started online classes with official evaluations in order to study again all the maths and science I've forgotten the last 18 years. Hopefully, I'll be able to take online astrophysics and meteorology uni classes after that. My friends think I'm crazy. Perhaps. Looking for some support online then ;-p. I'm surely not the only adult passionate enough about sciences to restart studying them while working. Am I?
The lights on this morning's lecture were beautiful

Grad school is the same except instead of a water bottle it’s that warm fifth of Jameson that’s been rolling around in your desk drawer for God knows how long

September 19, 2019/ Week 4/16
Hey study buddies! I apologize for my absence, the beginning of the semester is always a busy time for me. Im trying to get into the hang of my schedule and understanding how my professors set up their lectures/labs.
I’m currently taking four classes and three corresponding labs. Microbiology, Genetics, and Organic Chemistry 2 (as well as the labs for each of them) have been taking up the my majority of my days. The only class I find relatively undemanding of my time is Precalculus.
I’m attempting to stick with a proper studying routine and not allowing myself to fall behind like previous semesters. Thankfully majority of my classes don’t have a lot of homework, but the negative about that is I have to find other avenues to make sure I’m retaining information given in class. Taking notes is one thing, but creating homework for myself from those notes may be the best option if I want to succeed on quizzes and exams.
But anyway, I’m excited for this semester! My classes are mostly interesting and although they require a lot of note taking, I’m thoroughly enjoying the material. Here’s to a wonderful semester and be on the look out for an intro video about who I am and my plans for this academic year!
