honestly i think the most insidious thing about the whole "i would go out there and VOTE" democrat mantra as a response to oppression is the tacit implications of a. if you are part of a minority group and you do not vote, you deserve your suffering and b. if you are part of a minority group and do not have the numbers to sway your district/state/etc. then your suffering is not actionable

not only do the democrats not give a shit about the vast majority of american suffering except insofar as they can fundraise off of it, there is no vote you can cast that will end the suffering of those on the receiving end of bipartisan american foreign policy.

both parties agree on genocide and war, so voting supports genocide and war. some people's belief that the democratic party will protect them has a body count.

our "rights" cannot come at that price.
