Ok so anon from my earlier release me ask sent me another with the full extract and their thoughts but because it’s such big spoilers I didn’t feel comfortable posting it cos there’d be no way for me to warn anyone about the spoilers so I’ve just put a ss of their ask instead

Ok so there’s so much to unpack with this extract omg 😭😭 I’m seeing more now what you mean about the anger signalling this being towards the end of the book because their would’ve had to be some kind of build up right??? James has been continuously frustrated with her for almost valid reasons….but ultimately I believe rosabelle is the one who’s suffered.

I was really hoping for more of them getting to explore their relationship and cooperation from Rosa but it seems like this won’t be happening 😔 tbh I don’t know why I held out so much hope when tahereh literally said this book will be action packed, it feels like Rosa and James will take the brunt of this action and plot. Honestly it would be good to get more plot development watch me was amazing but it truly was mainly set up so this is giving me hope. I’m still mildly holding out hope that this isn’t right at the end because that’s really scaring me for ANOTHER cliff hanger where nothing is resolved again. I understand it’s only second book but this series is so amazing I just want to see more of it 😭😭 like if tahereh could send me the outline of the whole plot that’d be great getting a bit worried here 🥰🥰

ALSO SIDE NOTE but it seems like we may have some established side characters….which I’m looking forward to so much and I really hope this is the case. I’d love to have another group kinda of like our core four, they always added so much fun and better dynamics to the story. Plus we might actually get to know about James’s life, it feels like we know his trauma but not really his actual life over the last 10 years like who are his friends, what’s his style or grooming like, has he got other hobbies, any other big figures in his life, any exes??? Idk I’d just like more on both James and Rosabelle they’re addicting characters 😭😭

Yeah we only got AveryJameson crumbs in The Grandest Game but those crumbs were really worth it.

AveryJameson shippers have been fighting for their lives since book one to prove that Jameson really loves Avery and doesn't just think of her as a prize and reading this from a non-biased p.o.v (i.e Gigi) solidified the fact that Jameson is so down bad for Avery that everyone with two eyes can see that.

P.S: if you're still an AveryGrayson shipper please seek help I'm begging you
