brianna myoui is hardly a dramatic type, but right now, she is sure she is going to be bloody cursed. what kind of scot forgets to bring an umbrella with them? if in her hometown there were only a few natives who were caught off guard when the drops started pouring, in the highlands that number became almost nonexistent, she was sure of that much. and, outwardly, the slytherin had just entered that select, pitiful group.
for a long minute she observes the water coming down, while standing unsure in an excuse for a haven, biting on her cheek. whatâs up with rain on late november? as far as she was concerned, by now, the grounds should start being covered with layers of constant snow. not that it would be any better, she thinks, with a slight grimace to nothing special but the fact of how troublesome it would be for her back in the dorms.
for some unknown reason â which is a rule today, apparently â she also canât remember the spell who would assure she wouldnât get wet. she looks at her feet, tapping her thumb on her pale wand and lingering on that for a little longer, until she hears steps approaching. she catches a glimpse of blonde when she lefts her head, the otherâs own locks remarkably beautifulâand safely covered by the shelter of the same object brianna had forgotten about.
oh, how would she prefer to stay on her own and not risk some mindless chit chat, but the rain is thickening and the last thing she wants right now is to catch a cold over some seasonâs end rain. âhey,â the slytherin had decided to call for the ravenclaw, seemingly. they were on the same year, right? but of course bree, a disaster with paying attention to anyone and even caring to remember their names, didnât know what she was named. âdo you mind giving me a ride?â
when she had decided to head over to hogsmeade on her own in the morning, jiyeon was picturing herself walking down the busy streets, enjoying the warm sun with a perfectly chilly breeze running through her long, blonde hair. what she received instead was a dark grey sky followed soon by tears falling from the clouds.Â
while she had nothing against rain - she loved it, actually - she was not in the mood for a rainstorm today. the ravenclaw was quite looking forward to simply walking the streets absentminded and not having to care about school work, upcoming exams, and whatever was going on at home. perhaps this is why there was that whole saying about rain ruining a perfect day. she had never found any truth in it until today.Â
with a slight pout on her face, she reached her hand out to feel the severity of the rain, quickly pulling it back upon realizing that the rain was not going to bid goodbye any time soon. good thing she brought an umbrella. taking out her object of protection, she opened it up and was about to walk out towards the open when someone seemed to have spoken to her.
turning to face the source of the sound, she found another woman staring right at her. looking down at her robes, she recognized the colors - green and silver - and noted that she looked somewhat familiar. sheâs definitely seen her around the school, but there were so many students, and it was impossible to keep record of all of them.Â
she realized that the female was short of an umbrella, and while herâs wasnât the biggest, it could surely fit another person. âof course,â she replied, offering the other a warm smile as well. âalthough, i think our shoulders will get a little wet, seeing that this umbrella isnât exactly the biggest.â
