And the heart has none but Allah to bring it solace.
"The wise person must not try to talk over other people or interrupt them, because even though speech at the right time may be appreciated and important, silence at the right time is of a higher standard. A person is either a role model or lost and heedless, depending on the tongue. Allah, the Venerable and Almighty, raised the tongue above the other parts of the body, as there is nothing greater than it in reward if it is obedient but nothing worse than it for sin if it is disobedient."
|The Garden of the Wise and The Meadow of the Virtuous|
"Sins weaken imān (faith). When a servant repents, Allah loves him, and through repentance, his status/rank is elevated before Allah."
|Majmu’ al-Fatawa|
"You're loved when you're born, you're loved when you die, in between you have to manage."
People carry countless burdens in this dunya, yet the one who remembers Allah turns every hardship into worship and every trial into reward.
"The soul is like a wild horse. If you do not break it and lead it, it will break you and lead you into the abyss. Discipline is not the enemy of the heart; it is the fence that keeps the garden safe."
|Rawdat al-Muhibbin|
Hasan al-Basrī رحمه الله said:
“The Companions considered respecting women as a sign of male nobility.”
Even if the whole world and all its pleasures were gathered for you, your heart will never be filled with peace or true tranquillity unless Allah dwells in it. Without Allah, hearts remain hungry no matter how full life becomes.
Whoever loves you will encourage you to obey Allāh.
Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“When the heart is agitated and has anxiety then there is nothing that will make it tranquil other than the Dhikr [remembrance] of Allaah.”
[Madarij As-Salikeen, (3/72)]
"Matters that do not concern you—leave them be, for this is part of the perfection of one's Islam, and it is also a source of rest for a person. For a man to concern himself only with what pertains to him—that is true rest. But whoever pursues the affairs of others—what was said about them, what happened to them—will surely exhaust himself greatly and miss out on much good."
"I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your anger, and in Your forgiveness from Your punishment, and I seek refuge in You from You."
Vel-’asr. Innel-insâne lefî husr.
I will miss this sky and all this greenery... but most of all, I will miss this peace.
