And here is a little bonus, soundtrack from this level.
It's been a while. A year, if we want to be accurate. It has been a hard year for many of us, who are working at the Raycord project. Some of us went through some life-changing events, some have taken up a new job, some just went through a series of obstacles and some have lost their close relatives... It seems like a whole life has passed by. What about our project? Strangely enough it has survived.
So, in a few words: THE PROJECT IS ALIVE.
But while it is alive, it has undergone miserable changes for the past year, not to mention that we're unsure even about its basic concept. In fact, we don't know if we're going to hold onto the MLP universe or just straight make up something of our own, inspired by the original series. It's not like we had a lot in common to begin with, besides our characters... And the main fight still goes on with the coding, more than with anything else. What we want more than anything else is to make a QUALITY platformer, smooth and comfortable in controls, which turns out to be a hard thing to do. Especially if you barely have any time to spare on it.
To be really honest with you, a few times we thought about closing our project for good. We're still thinking about that. To be honest, we were going to just close it today and straight up publish all that we've done on the game up until now. But, while we are making at least some progress, we decided to go on. After all - it is simple to give up, but to fight on is where the real challenge is.
So, to sum up - is the project closed? Not yet. Will you see some progress on it soon? Don't know. How long we're going to keep developing? No idea. Is there a possibility that we'll close up the project before finishing? Yes.
But for now the fight goes on. And in our time, spare from work, stresses, disasters and other things that make our lives exciting, we're going to keep working on the project. No promises though. Anyway, thanks for everyone who still follows us and patiently waits! I hope that we'll be able to publish some good news and next time it will be sooner than a year!
Greetings, dear followers!
As you might remember, sometime ago we made a really cool poster and told you all about how we’re going to the Hearth’s Warming Con held in the Netherlands to show off ourselves and our game. If you don’t remember, that’s good. If you do – not that good, but we can work with it. Well, the thing is – our visa request was declined. Whether it is because we’re poor as heck or because the Netherlands embassy in Moscow has more trust in Syrian refugees than in Russian tourists (no offence to you, common Holland folk), show must go on. And that’s why, despite the current situation, we’re still going to show our faces and our demo on the convention at least virtually.
So this Sunday, 28 February, 12:00 – 13:00 GMT we’re going to have a Skype call with the con. There we’re going to talk about our project in general and some exclusive stuff in particular. We’re also going to stream this online, links will be provided later.
So everyone who wants to learn some new info about our project, see exclusive and fresh things and maybe get his share of surprises – you’re welcome to our stream! And we’re going to hold our fingers crossed until then so that everything goes as we planned (at least this time). See y’all in a week!
Hello, fellow cartoon horses enthusiasts! So, we’ve been a bit quiet for quite some time now. Of course, there is a reason for that. Yes, we have put out some footage of our demo level, but since we care a lot about our audience experience there isn’t any public version available, because we feel that the quality isn’t quite where we want it. However, historically we’ve been bringing our work to conventions, and we are going to do the same in 2016 on the Hearth’s Warming Con in Netherlands on 27th and 28th February. And since this one happens after a long break we have a lot to show. So if you happen to come there in search of our content, expect Q&A panel, trying out our demo, competing with the dev team for some prizes and generally having fun in the Multimedia Room of the convention center! Hope to see ya on the Hearth’s Warming Con!
ANNOUNCEMENT
Today our art director is unboxing and trying out a new tablet - Wacom Cintiq 13hd DTK-1300 (he says that it's like 100 times better for drawing so I guess that's a cool thing). And being in high spirits about it he wants to make a stream. On it you can expect the following:
1. One drawing-power-crazed artitst 2. One scriptwriter commentating the whole thing 3. One assistant with Fluttershy's personality 4. Live unboxing, installing and tasting that new tablet (maybe in other order) 5. A heck lot of art requested live by the audience 6. Answers considering the game, project and whatever you want to ask 7. Maybe something exclusive =)
The stream will start at around 12 PM EST today. All links will be posted here.
Our animator really laid his eye upon the design of Paprika the Alpaca created by Lauren Faust and tried to imagine one of her light attacks. But things got out of hand pretty quickly and he ended up with this.
For those of you unaware - Paprika is a character from an upcoming game Them's Fightin' Herds. It is being crowdfunded at the moment and hopefully they'll collect enough money for it! If you wish to learn more,

These guys do an amazing job and are a real inspiration for us, so go and support them! If they succeed, that just might inspire us even more and give a drastic boost to our own game development ;)
Hello again, everyone!Â
You’re reading this, which means that time has come for yet another update (and one small announcement). Slowly but steadily, we work on two things: our musical level that we mentioned in previous posts and on the first world of our game – figuring out its different gameplay elements and general design. Moreover, we are considering some 2016 conventions, but it is too early to speak about something in particular, so be on the lookout for future updates.
And now to my announcement or, to be honest, a request. One of the game’s main features is going to be a rhymed speech of chaotic bunny D - our one and only storyteller. As of now, our writers are doing quite a decent job of producing lyrics on regular basis, but good text is just half of the deal – somebody needs to read it properly. That’s why we are looking for the voice actor for D. If you are willing to try yourself in the boots of almighty principal of the Chaos Academy, hiding behind the mask of a white fluffy creature, feel free to write on [email protected], leave a reply in the comments or send us a message.
That’s all for today, see you in a month or something. And while you’re waiting here’s a cute demon-guard from the Chaos Academy for you!

So, we are finally posting this - footage of "Floor is Lava" PvP mode that we already brought to every convention that we've been on. It's not like we became mega proud of this unpolished mini-game all of a sudden, but we thought it would be nice to give a tip of the hat to our composer Arvianth who wrote a beautiful soundtrack for this level.
