A South African Military mech design, dubbed, "Volstruis" drew a lot of inspiration from actual military vehicles, as well as trying to get this as believable as I can at this moment, especially in functionality.

Life study of a statue of David I have.  a good old desk lamp for lighting and a few hours and there we go. Drawing from life is really something I should do more often.  this was a ton of fun.

And here we go,  finished painting a john singer Sargent master study tonight. and again one of my favorite painters of all time. what a guy

Just a facial plane studies, a good way to paint is just make sure your facial planes are good, give it a good smudge and you are good to go. practice makes perfect.

John Singer Sargent Master study, I did, getting back into these, and loving every bit of it. man, these old dead guys were good. especially this bloke

About time that I get back to doing these, I use to love these studies and now I remember why,  so screenshot that I took from  Game of Thrones, and pushed it a bit further, also trying to get back to my old style.
