-Hours Later-
Gabriel sighed, because the event was over and all was better, but he still wanted to wait back and see if he saw… Victor from that night. He knew that the man was nothing but bad news, but he wanted him. Every atom in his body sparked when he was near the man and he couldn’t help himself but to want him. To want to be near him.
His son was with a friend, who Gabe trusted and had other children that was Chris’ age, so he had the rest of the night and next day to himself. So He decided even if he didn’t find Victor that he would still enjoy the hotel room and services.
Walking around he sighed and stopped when he saw a head full of hair and eyes trained on him. His heart picked up - he didn’t know he had been holding his breath and hoping that the other was okay - until he finally exhaled then. “V-victor?”

Things had gone south, and not from his own doing. Victor had gotten the hell out of dodge the second shit hit the fan: that wasn’t his fight. Whoever was pulling stunts didn’t need another supervillain running around spoiling things. He’d found an exit, took down some security, and spent the night watching from the wings. Waiting to see who had beaten him to chaos.
Come morning, though, he caught wind of a familiar scent. One that had lingered with him most of the night. Using just a simple hat and pair of sunglasses to conceal his identity, he stormed the hotel with morbid curiosity. He hadn’t gotten enough Gabriel, it seemed.
A small smirk played on his lips when the man spotted him, tongue running over his lower row of teeth. “Didn’t get killed? Smart move.” He took a step closer, no fear of the man in front of him. Just questions needing answers, some basic instincts to ignore. “I like a man who can take care of himself.” Feeling emboldened, he reached a hand out to press into Gabe’s shoulder. “You have any idea what I missed? I... excused myself... before things got hairy.”
“Well... hairier than me.”
