I liked the live action movie's visuals a loooooot, but the story was eh (mostly 'cause they had to cramp a lot of the story within a 1 movie time frame). I heard the comic series is really good but I never felt an urge to read it 'cause of Scott's character from the movie (and I feel really bad for Knives) that I was like "Why would I wanna read a story about that kinda dude?". But the art style always seemed so interesting to me, so when they announce the anime (yeah it's anime) I was intrigued.
Needless to say, it is pretty good. It's WAY different from what I expected and I heard it differs from the comic as well. It has a lot of fun callbacks to the movie as well, so maybe I'll read the comics after all :)
Anyway I felt like drawing the KP characters in the Scott Pilgrim style!
So I was rewatching Kim Possible this week and noticed that Drakken and Sheego's shadows seem to be kissing in this scene 😂
Although I can't say that I ship them (yet), I found this frame choice very interesting.
This reminds me of a TV show where the main couple was arguing, but the lights of the room made their shadows imitate a kiss. A director's choice to tease their real feelings.
Opps, it's been a while. But I finally completed the super fun Drakgo prompt from @souljellied. Sorry I took forever to color and post this! I'm not sure if I like how the version with the white background turned out but I spent too much time on it to not include it too haha.
This probably would have made more sense for last month but oh well. xD Better late than never I guess.

Thank you @creatorping for reminding me that Pocky day is an actual holiday. Had an entire convo 'bout what would happen if the KP characters would play the Pocky game (lol after all these years NOW I realise that there were actual rules to this game instead of "eat the cookie and give a kiss".)
My favorite ones are matcha and original Pocky... but LOOK AT THE BLUEBERRY ONES. IT HAS A HEART SHAPED. IT'S SO CUTE!!!

I literally draw Drakgo to find rest in my head and process things/emotions I deal with, 'cause mental wise I'm on a rollercoaster for the past year.
If you asked me 5 years ago where I'd be today, well, I wouldn't have guessed that I could ever be happy and actually live for the first time in over 20 years. But because of this, every day I'm terrified that I could potentially lose this new found happiness that is considered 'normal' to average person that I end up forgetting to enjoy the day. I am terrified of 'what ifs' in such a way that it completely makes me shut down.
You might feel like you're all alone and things are hopeless, but I can guarantee you that things will be okay. Be kind to yourself and keep in mind that getting back on track is not linear. You'll fall and slip but that's not the end.
Failure doesn't define you or your worth. What defines you are your actions.
In this day and age we need more kindness and understanding. Help one another. You'll get there. You'll make it. You'll be okay. Everyone struggles and we all try to live life the best we can, so yeah. Be the positive change you want to see in the world.
What if Shego and Dr. Drakken ended up in each other's bodies like in the episode 'mind games':
- Drakken doesn't want to stain Shego's suit as he works on repairing the machine, but he also doesn't want to take it off; so he wears a spare labcoat over it.
- Drakken doesn't know how to control Shego's powers and ended up blasting half of the sofa.
- Shego fixed Drakken's nails and did some self care that day.
Drakken: But what if "Mike" was actually short for "Micycle"?
Shego: ...
Kim: ...
Shego: I apologize for...this. It's going to be stuck in my head for weeks now.
Kim: Don't apologize, Ron is exactly the sa--
Ron: So would that mean "bike" is short for "Bichael"?
Ron: Yeahhh, she may be evil and morally corrupt but she's also beautiful so I think that makes up for it honestly.
Kim: Ron!
Shego: *smirk*
Drakken: I'm not beautiful?
