Wall Poetry
Their eyes match the sky / like fireflies in the night / when their hearts start to cry / let goodness come to light / shine splendidly and fair / let no foot come to wear
The stars are muddled / hidden away from prying eyes / the city lights are befuddled / shining towards the darkened sky / what did we do wrong / where did the clouds belong
your words I have hid in my heart / and my heart is on my sleeve / I race to you from the start / but from me you seem to leave / where did you go this time / was my heart not enough sublime
Summertime calls for freedom / Winter calls for the cold / at home resides a kingdom / how are we so bold / the weather wears a crown / and I a blanket of down / home is where the heat is
With these ears I have heard / and these eyes the sight / my lips spread the word / this heart shares its plight / for when trouble comes a-calling / my bed shall find me enthralling
Feathers are soft / the clouds are like down / birds fling themselves aloft / beak turned from the ground / taloned legs stay up high / toes and feet walk on by
