HUI SS'25 milanfashionweek

Fashion brand huimilano by designer Zhao Huizhou, the theme was "Women's Power"

Luxurious materials like silk and chiffon, as well as blue hues, highlighted the "Grand Tour" collection. The designs featured subtle references to traditional Chinese culture, such as beautiful batik motifs, delicate butterflies and peonies, and empowering sea and mountain images.

The first images sort of reminded me of Dior!

Every Prada season is something incredible. This work with colorblocking and textures is crazy in a good way. Lots of reinterpreted archives, ironic trompe l'oeil (belts and fur collars), elegant futurism

Burberry Spring Summer 2025 Ready-to-Wear

As you watch the collection you can notice the metamorphosis of Daniel Lee, who is trying to very carefully sneak up on the Burberry era of Christopher Bailey. The collection had parkas with feathers combined with sequins dresses, short jackets, aviator jackets, jackets with maxi dresses, and double polo shirts. And yes, there were capes again which was a mix of outdoor and "evening".

The color pallet was natural colors, including blue-gray (there's a lot of blue next year) and color splashes of lilac and orange.

I also noticeed the extended belt on the hips , which is also often seen at 2025 shows.

Of course the famous Burberry trench coats were evident and flaunting down the runway.

Erdem spring collection has reference to the 20s - endless fringe, sparkling embroidery, straight-cut dresses with low waists and V-necks. Also the floral motifs, lace, pastels and metallic accents in the collection. Very Springy!

Since Michael Stewart, Standing Ground designer, only makes pieces to order. Therefore today was the label’s first solo runway outing. And boy did he deliver!

I watched the JW Anderson SS’25 show. Well, I can tell that mini will be everywhere and everything this spring, and in any variations, shorts, skirts, dresses, long sweaters, bombers – take your pick. I liked that the collection combined minimalist silhouettes with crazy cuts. I can just see these patch dresses and “ballet tutus” in the street.
