Pluto the Small Dwarf Planet

Tired of singing the same holiday songs? Here’s a celestial take on the classic Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer that you can introduce to your friends and family.

(Three infrared wavelength ranges were placed into the three color channels (red, green and blue, respectively) to create this false color Christmas portrait.)

Sung to the tune of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

Intro You know Mercury, Venus and Earth and Mars, too Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune But do you recall the most famous Solar System body of all

Verse 1 Pluto the small dwarf planet Has a very shiny glow And if you had discovered it Your name might be Clyde Tombaugh

Verse 2 All of the other planets  used to laugh and call him names They never let poor Pluto join in planetary games

Verse 3 Then one fateful summer eve New Horizons came to say “Pluto with your heart so bright Won’t you let me flyby tonight?”

Random Thoughts

There are times I wish I was someone else. Someone that is great, an achiever, someone famous and probably rich. Not that I'm insecured about my current self . I just feel like I'm destined to do great things but somehow I'm not doing anything about it. May be I haven't found my equilibrium yet. A balance between what I "really" want and what I like.

Random Thoughts

Today is my last day as 27 years old and as I look back on the decisions I made in my life, it was not as perfect as I want it to be. But for some unknown reason I don't want to change it -- even if fate will give me the chance to do it -- guess perfection was never my forte. Sure there were times I had an urge to took out a piece of memories from there and then but If I do that, will I still be who I am now? Will I be happy if I choose the other way? Guess they are right -- life was never meant to be lived backwards rather forward -- sure it is nice to visit memory lane once in a while especially if the current me is feeling lost about life.
