Ophelia sighed, her arms crossing over her chest - fingers tapping against her arm, unable to remain still for long as she took several deep breaths. “I don’t see anyone else here though.. just me.” Her lips pressed together, it wasn’t right - it wasn’t fair. Why was she punished yet the people who caused to problem in the first place didn’t seem to even get a slap on the wrist. At his words her eyes darted between him and the seat - she felt safer in the corner, nothing and no one could come up behind her that way - although it did mean if he came towards her she didn’t have an escape route, perhaps the seat was safer after all.
“Fine.” She spoke after a moment, quickly moving towards the seat, moving it slightly so it was closer to the door - an escape route within reach easily. Always a smart option to have. “What do I need to talk about? Those … people were planning on messing with my brother - I couldn’t let them do that.” The people she was speaking about only one or two were her age, but the others weren’t attending Auradon Prep like she was - they had known her brother, yet it hadn’t stopped her. Her hand clenched and un-clenched - the skin on her knuckles still stung.
He was glad when she finally decided to join him at the desk. Though, now that she was sitting in a chair, it was evident just how short LeFou was, even compared to one of the students.
“Well, it wouldn’t be very private if we had them here. You’d probably just start bickering again. Which is why it’s for the best it’s just us. Again, you’re not in trouble. That’s not my job.” He paused, noticing how afraid she was of him. He knew he had a position at the school, but he didn’t truly believe he had authority or right to critique. “The Isle wasn’t easy on either of us. I assume the transition’s been rough for you, as well?”
