“I haven’t really talked to her after so I might not have left a great impression.” Kingston chuckled, having tried his best to be a gentleman but maybe not everyone appreicated it. Or he tried too hard. It tends to happen. Mostly because of his background. Sometimes he caught himself still trying to impress people eventhough he doesn’t have a reason to. “What about you? Were you there? As I can’t recall seeing you there.”
“I tried my best. We’ve got a few good memories.” Smiling softly, their childhood wasn’t like any other. They mostly suffered from mental and physical abuse so there wasn’t a lot to have good memories of. But there were certain things. The painted roses were one of them. Kingston wanted this club to be something that him and his sister could look at and be proud of. To have something good in their lives. To show that they actually turned out alright. “This will be a positive place for us. I promise.”
“You will have to tell me more about this.” Quinn offered a small smile before shrugging her shoulders, keeping her arms around her brother as she thought about it, “I was - I was with Evie pretty much the whole time though.” At the mere mention of the blue haired girls name, her whole face lit up - eyes softening as she remembers the night, “It was amazing King.” She left it at that.
“We really do.” While their life had always been far from a normal childhood - even by some isle standards they had been dealt a rough childhood, there had always been some bright lights of joy mixed in. For Quinn, that was mostly thanks to her having her big brother there. “Do you think .. I mean, I want to hope for the best of course - but do you think it will be well accepted?” She questioned carefully, no matter what her brother wouldn’t be upset with her for asking at least.
