alright friends so i’ve dropped several characters and deleted all my drafts prior to the event in an attempt to regain muse. so here’s a starter call for all my lovely remaining muses ! you know what to do.

XIMENA & GABRIEL.

“well, i do go to school here…” gabriel smiled softly, not really having some type of bond with the girl, and her sister, but he knew of them. mostly because of the stories his father told him. gabe did think it was unfair that the girls were sent to the isle just because of who their ancestor was. it just didn’t make much sense to him. “it’s nice to see that you finally made it here.” his father had also taught him not to be judgemental but he really didn’t have a reason to. it all happened in the past and no grudges were held.

“right.” she replied, almost completely forgetting the boy was still in prep, same prep she’d surprisingly landed a job at. the job was still new so the female still wasn’t completely aware of who the students and alumni were. the boy seemed friendly enough, ximena wanted to hate him but she couldn’t, she was more angry and hated the royals who trapped her on the isle, those of the reigning family. “yeah took us long enough. but we finally made it out of that horrible place.” she replied with a nod.

PENELOPE & LINA.

“ thanks, i figured the usual leather and denim weren’t exactly ball-appropriate… ” lina admitted with a light scoff. “ i like the red… – ” was it a coat ? a cape ? “ – the red looks good on you. “ after a long gulp of her spiked punch, she replied, “ i hate to break it to you, gothel, but i don’t think we’ll ever not feel out of place. did you sneak in, too, or did you actually score an invite ? ”

“yeah that’s not very ball-esque.” replied the dark haired female with a chuckle. hearing the other’s words brought a smile to her features, it wasn’t often that she heard compliments from other that weren't her sisters. “thank you. i thought the coat would be a nice touch.” she replied and took a sip of her punch. when the other spoke, penelope shrugged. “you have a point. even if we try our best we’ll never fully be like these people.” she admitted. “i actually scored an invite. i’m kinda seeing this guy and he was my ticket in.” replied the brunette.

MILLICENT & EMMELINE.

at the sound of the other’s voice, emmeline turned toward her with narrowed eyes. “ why did you even bother to come if you didn’t want to be here ? ” people like millicent were the exact reason why she had to work her ass off just to be allowed here. “ this isn’t a bar, it’s a formal event. one you weren’t invited to, if i remember correctly. ”

“i wanted to see for myself what all the buzz was about. but oh am i disappointed. in all honesty your brothers companionship is the only thing i’m enjoying tonight.” millicent replied. she was not fond of the badun girl, yet she’d always tried to remain civil with her for the sake of her relationship with william. but the other made it quite hard sometimes. “oh wow thanks for the reminder. i almost forgot about that part.” she replied sarcastically.

IMAN & RIVER.

“that i am.” river was a little confused as he didn’t recognize her, but gave her a smile anyways. when she extended her hand, he shook it and couldn’t help but think that he’d heard that name before. “it’s a pleasure to meet you.” after a few seconds, it hit him. this was the girl his sister talked about. the girl she was seeing. of course he was happy for summer but part of him still worried. he knew nothing about iman but that was going to change. “so you’re the one seeing my sister?”

“i’ve heard plenty of you.” added iman, seeing the confused look on the male’s features. perhaps she should’ve started with her name, summer had told her that she’d been talking about her with her siblings so she’d hope river would be at least a bit familiar with her name. “likewise.” she simply added. at his inquire she nodded. “yes that would be me. i am the girl dating your sister.” she replied, hoping for a good reaction.

EVIE & MAL.

“e, i can’t say that i’m not nervous either.” the fairy started to the other. “but i trust that ben has made the right decision. and whatever the villains try to do, they will be properly dealt with.” the purple haired female explained. “there are certain villains that i don’t trust one bit, and honestly i think they should have made an exception and allowed all of the villains to attend tonight, but it’s too late for that.”

“when discussing all of this with ben i never thought i’d feel like this. i thought things would be fine, and they have been for the most part. but i just can’t help this feeling i have.” evie admitted with a sigh, if there was someone she could be completely honest with that was mal, she knew her best friend would understand and always have her back. “you’re right if they attempt to do anything they’ll just have to face the consequences.” she added with a shrug. “yeah it is a little too late for that now. but we had no say in that, m.”

XIMENA & XIOMARA.

“please this is nothing.” the younger female smiled at her older sister. if she had really wanted to she knew she could have gone over board with it. but seeing as she was about to sneak her way in with her older sister and her best friend, she knew too over the top would have been ridiculous. “of course i will dance with you!” the brunette smiled as she followed the other.

“well aren’t you modest, xio.” replied ximena with a chuckle, she knew her younger sister knew she looked fantastic. ximena had always been the one to remind the younger de la cruz girl how amazing she was and that she was destined to do great things. “isn’t this fun ?” she asked the other as they danced. she was in a way happy she decided to break into the event, they deserved to be here having a good time as much as the auradon kids. she could’ve easily come as a chaperone, since she did work at the prep after all, but the thrill of breaking in was more of her style.

PENELOPE & LANA.

“it really is pen.” the dark haired female looked at her sister, a slight smile forming on her face. the eldest gothel may not have dressed like the princesses in auradon, but the fact that she had been walked into the ballroom with a guy that she genuinely was beginning to care for was crazy enough to make her feel special. something that she hadn’t felt in a long time. “it’s crazy, we would never get anything like this on the isle. well actually we would. we would have gotten all of the left overs on the isle.”

“did you ever thought we’d be here someday ?” the girl asked her older sister. penelope had dreamed of it for sure, yet she never thought there was even a remote possibility of it becoming a reality. penelope’s style was not necessarily what you’d see in auradon, yet neither was lana’s, out of all the gothel girls sunny was probably the one who’d dress up to the occasion. regardless she thought they all looked lovely, even if their outfits weren't as extravagant as others. “yeah i often try to forget that we would eat these people’s leftovers. but hey that’s the life we lived. we didn’t have much of a choice.” she added with a shrug.

IMAN & SUMMER.

“it was the perfect chance.” the red headed mermaid smiled at her girlfriend. iman was a beautiful woman, and someone that summer had never thought that she would have had a shot with her. but things had happened perfectly and the mermaid was proud to be escorting the dark haired female into the ballroom. “thank you, i tried. “ the red headed responded with a smile. she probably could have tried harder, but she had always felt that her hair looked best when she let it air dry after a swim in the ocean.

“i’m glad you think so. i thought since i was coming here with the most gorgeous princess in the land i had to try to look my best.” replied iman with a warm smile as her hues connected with her girlfriends. the dark haired female truly wanted to be better, she wanted to prove summer she was worthy of her, worthy of being the one making her happy. summer was never someone she thought she could have, she was everything good in this world, iman often didn’t feel worthy. “you’re so effortlessly beautiful, i’m sure you’d look your best even if you didn’t try.” the woman added as the two made their way into the ballroom

the pink haired female shifted her sight to the nearest person and smiled. “have you these these appetizers ?” sage inquired with one in hand, giving it a small bite she hummed contently. “man i never thought i’d be this thrilled about food. yet look at me now.” she added with a soft chuckle.

ZAINA & LOLA.

“so they allow just about everyone under the sun in here, but a reformed villain kid can’t enter? i think that is completely biased and leaves only a handful of people out of one of the largest events.”

“don’t you just love to be oppressed. it’s almost as if we’re still trapped on the isle, eating their leftovers, while having to deal with our shitty parents. i still don’t understand how they ever thought any of that and now this is fair. you’re right it is completely biased. i’m trying to be a better person yet they want to keep me in the shadows.”

MELODY & ISABELLA.

“what this old thing?” the alien joked with her fiance for a moment. spinning around to face the dark haired mermaid, she took in the sight of her beautiful fiance. “i mean look at you though. you are absolutely stunning.” the brunette beamed at her. “come on, we’d better get inside before they have a thousand photos of us.”

“oh please, don’t act all modest. you know you look amazing.” melody replied, lightly laughing at her fiancee’s joke. when the compliments backfired her way, the brunette felt her cheeks turn red. “you flatter me way too much.” she replied with a beaming smile. the mermaid completely forgot they were still outside until isabella mentioned it. “oh right. the event is inside. i forgot where i was for a second as i got lost in your eyes.” she added, she knew she was being corny but couldn’t help herself.

ROMINA & WINTER.

“i know you do, and i look forward to it every damn time.” the blonde smiled at the other for a moment. “but one of these days i have got to try and coordinate with you.” she teased for a moment. she really wasn’t the type that cared about looks. comfortable was the way to go for her, and nothing was going to change that for her. “oh i will definitely be taking you home tonight.” she winked at the other for a moment. “i can guarantee that i will be taking your hot ass home.” she continued for another moment. “i am pretty cute aren’t i?” she added with a small pout.

“mama always told me to dress to impress, and i think i’m making her proud with this attire.” replied the brunette with a smile. “i’m glad you do though. i always look forward to see what you wear too, babe. you always manage to stun me. but lets be real you’d stun me even if you were wearing a garbage bag.” she added with a chuckle before hearing the other speak of coordinating their outfits. “we should definitely do that on the next event. i’m sure we can pull it off.” she was aware of her girlfriend’s comfortable style and she loved that, but she thought it’d be fun to dress her up at least once. “good ‘cause if you didn’t i would for sure take you back to mine.” she replied with a wink of her own. that pout was her weakness, as soon as she saw it she leaned forward and pressed a small peck on her pout. “the cutest ever.”

ALEXIS & ZOE.

“but of course.” the blonde smiled at the other blonde for a moment. zoe had always loved the balls as a child. often attending them along side her mother and father. so it was even better now that she was old enough to attend with her own dates. her body swaying in time with the music as she reached her hand out to take the other’s.

alexis had always been a happy girl, it honestly didn’t take much to bring a smile to the blonde’s face. these balls were definitely something she enjoyed, she’d attended plenty before but this was the first year she attended with her girlfriends, she was excited to see what the night had prepared for them. as she danced alongside zoe the female was in her element, nothing could ruin this night. “this is so much fun.” she expressed happily.

WILLOW & GEORGIA.

“i know it’s strange being in such a public place and event.” the brunette admitted to her younger sister. truth was she was still feeling quite outof place herself. but she had decided to go with her two girlfriends. making them happy was the only reason she had somehow mustered up the courage to attend something that would have had their own father a mess.

“it really is. i don’t think i’ve ever felt this out of place ever before. it’s quite an odd feeling.” said the female, a shrug following her words. at least her sisters had managed to find themselves dates, they seemed to be adjusting to being in auradon. willow on the other hand have had to crash the event, and it was something she was already starting to regret.

“Evie!” Carlos grinned, hurrying over to the blue haired girl, his hand reaching out, lightly grasping hers before pulling her into a gentle twirl as he whistles lightly, “Look at you! You Have truly out done yourself with this one, also - not so much blue - a surprise but it suits you as always.” He smiled proudly, giving a short bow of his head. “Where is your other half? I wasn’t expecting to catch you on your own here.” He gave a small glance around for the red haired girl before landing back on his friend, “Speaking of though - have you seen mine?”

“hey there carlos !” the blue haired female replied with a wide smile. a giggle falling from her lips as the male twirled her around and complimented her. “oh please. you’re too sweet to me. i mean i did put quite the effort on this but we’re not here to talk about that.” she replied and wasn’t able to hold her laughter when he mentioned the lack of blue. “i thought it was about time to try something different. i’m glad you approve.” she replied happily. “quinn is around. i believe she only went to the powder room, so she should be back shortly.” evie explained. at carlos inquire, the girl lightly shook her head. “i have not actually.” she looked around the ballroom for jay. “where could he be hiding ?” she asked herself out loud.

JOSEPHINE & GURRI.

Such large crowds of people often made Gurri a bit uncomfortable, although the ball wasn’t as bad as she thought it would be. She was taking a break from interactions by standing on the perimeter of the dance floor, but she noticed someone nearby and felt it might be rude not to say anything. “It’s almost a bit dizzying, isn’t it?”

although josephine had a fun and bubbly personality, these types of events were not something she often attended. not because she didn’t enjoy them but mostly because she would usually spend her time working, with zackary, or her family. yet she’d decided to attend this time. “it depends on how you see it.” the female replied with a grin. “i think everyone’s having lots of fun. but i can get how it can be a bit overwhelming.”
