this action took amy by surprise, it wasn’t uncommon for AMY to get noticed whilst shopping in town but, no one had ever went up to amy and just....touched their shoulder like this. it took a moment for amy to process the whole thing, perhaps this girl isn’t good with talking to others? they didn’t seem to be in any kind of trouble and noticing on their pressure, it seems she was attempting to be reassuring. a nice gesture without a doubt but it wasn’t NECESSARY. it might've some form of social anxiety as well? that was probably the best guess for now. amy then regained her posture, clearing her throat.  ❛ uhm, hey? are you alright? if you need something, i'm glad to help! just, let go of my shoulder please. ❜

❛ honestly ,i wasn't too sure how these cards worked myself, but they helped me find sonic whenever i was a kid! ❜ amy quickly got her cards from her bedroom and began to shuffle the deck in her hands. her skills were a bit rusty, though she'll try her best! she sat down on her couch, next to her friend. ❛ all you have to do is pick three cards and i can tell what'll happen in your future! ❜ it did seem a bit redundant to tell SILVER of all people this information but, he seemed actually interested in this stuff, and that made amy very happy! she eagerly placed the cards infront of silver facing downwards. ❛ oh, a fair warning! these may not be 100 percent accurate. one small change could drastically alter what happens next in your life! ❜

They  look  to  be  perfect  opposites,  making  their  way       through  the  crazy  theme  park.  In  his  hand  is  a  stick  of  COTTON  CANDY,  missing  a  hunk  from  the  side  closest  to  his  mouth,  making  it  clear  hes  already  sampled  the  sticky,  sugary  treat.  Directly  in  his  path,  just  beyond  the  candy  was  Amy,  leading  him  along  &  chattering  away.  He  can’t  help  but  feel  a  twinge  of  amusement  toward  the  fact  the  candy &  Amy  were  about  the  same  colour.  Probably  as  sweet  as  each  other  too. Truth  was  had  anyone  else  invited  him  out  here  he   MIGHT  HAVE   refused  them  but  for  her  he  was  tagging  along,  albeit  a  little  quietly.  He  figures  accompanying  her  here  is  the  very  least  he  could  do, he  hadn’t  entirely  forgotten  what  she  had  done  for  him.  

So  far  though  she  didn’t  seem  to  mind,  filling  in  his  FREQUENT  SILENCE  with  her  small  comments  about  how  much  fun  the  rides  looked  or  how  cool  the  side  show’s  were. He  wasn’t  sure  why  she  asked  him  of  all  people  to  come  here  but  he wouldn’t  complain.  The  mention  of  Sonic  pulls  him  from  his  thoughts  &  this  time she  receives  an  actual  comment  from  the  other  hedgehog,  figuring  it  was  a  decent  enough  conversation  starter.  ❝ How  did  you  come  to  meet  Sonic,  anyhow ? ❞

❛ hm? ❜ amy's emerald colored eyes were like of a doe; not really expecting a question of genuine curiosity, rare to see from someone like shadow. though, she HARDLY knows much of anything about him, if anything at all. it only took mere seconds to halt their adventure, her fingers intertwine with his, a bright smile accompanies as well. ( she's excited to gush about her friend. ) ❛ you mean i hadn't told you yet??? it all started a couple of years ago, i found out about sonic from my mother and went searching for him. he saved me from metal sonic and dr eggman, back when i couldn't really defend myself. ❜ a small giggle soon followed, along with a hum. it was obvious she was leaving out some details on purpose to save time, and other reasons she'd rather not get into. ❛ i dunno where i'd be without him y'know. he really means alot to me, all of my friends do — including you. ❜

1. What would prevent you from following someone? & 3. What current rp trend do you hate?

one thing that’ll always make me not follow someone is that if the person doesn’t trim their posts, rps through asks and they don’t tag things. like, you can do it if you want! but it makes my dash feel messy whenever i follow someone & they do that kind of stuff sooo yeah! i tend to not follow those kinds of roleplayers.

i don’t follow a ton of trends but one thing that some roleplayers do that personally bug me, is make the text super small & impossible / hard to read and icons are like 20x20 in size. now again , it’s totally fine if you do these things and i won’t hate anyone for doing so, it’s just a small nitpick, it’s just harder for me to read something when it’s so tiny y’know? but i normally can zoom in & that fixes the issue! you can blame my poor eyesight on this one.

38. What advice would you give to someone new to rp?

i’m not the best person for rp advice BUT if i had to give some, i’d say: do not take roleplaying too seriously! bc i once used to do that and it made roleplaying absolutely terrible at that time; i made myself have deadlines and all that other trash. now i just take everything easy and so far, roleplaying as been fun for me since roleplaying isn’t my top priority anymore & i’ve met some truly wonderful friends by doing so! also, this isn’t necessarily advice but, i’d try to make the character you roleplay as semi-relatable if possible. it certainly helped me with my writing at least.
