SHE/HER. ◟ wait, wasn’t that rose park? they’re a twenty-two year old year junior, hailing from atlanta, georgia. i heard they’ve chosen to study fashion and word around campus is that they’re ; outgoing & radiant but also quite stubborn & manipulative. you know, that could be why they’re labelled as the sycophant. if you happen to see them walking to class with their earbuds in, they’re probably listening to supermodel by sza. rose park grew up in a fairly wealthy household in atlanta, georgia as the only child to jon and margaret park, both of whom work in the medical field. growing up, rose was constantly pressured to make good grades and follow in her parents footsteps. but ever since she was a little girl, rose dreamt of being a fashion designer. she would sketch outfits and jot down ideas whenever she could, a hobby which continued all the way until high school.
when the time came to apply to colleges, rose finally mustered up the courage to tell her parents about wanting to be a fashion designer and not a doctor. unfortunately, her parents didn’t support her, as they thought it was only a pipe dream that she would make no money from. dejected and disappointed, rose decided to leave them behind in atlanta and attend baldwin university to pursue a degree in fashion.
in the midst of all of this, there was one person in particular who supported rose and her dreams: her boyfriend of four years, landon. the two met as freshmen in high school and fell for each other instantly. rose had never connected with someone like him before, and the two seemed to share the same mind. deeply in love, rose saw herself marrying him and starting a family once they finished high school. sadly, her future seemed to crumble when she caught him cheating on her with her best friend. rose was heartbroken, and since then, has closed herself off to love and finds it difficult to fully trust anyone.
after the breakup, rose focused on nothing else but her career. she uses her work as a coping mechanism because she hasn’t fully gotten over her heartbreak. to the people around her, she’s a confident go-getter without a care in the world. but on the inside, she’s still broken and dealing with self-esteem issues.
