scnctimonia:
scorpius & celeste
âMerlinâs beard, Celeste, Iâm⊠Iâm mad for her!â Scorpius admitted, but instead of looking extremely pleased with himself for the confidence of finally saying it out loudâhe felt disgruntled. He groaned pathetically before trotting over to his sisterâs bed and falling face first into one of her fluffy pillows. It was a better blow than seeing grandpa and grandmaâs disapproval in less than a couple of days from now. Scorpius turned his head to the side to stare at his sister, brows furrowed in worry as he went on, âI kinda care, you know? I have to. You know me. Grandma and grandpa⊠theyâre not gonna be happy. They could accept mum because sheâs a pure blood from the Sacred Twenty-Eight, but Lily⊠Lily is half-blood and a Potter, but Iâll be damned, the prettiest, fiercest and smartest one out there!â
Scorpius grumbled once again as he ran his hands through his face in agitation. âIâve never felt like this about anyone. Not even Rose. Lily, sheâs⊠sheâs so different and kind, and loving, and adventurous, and happy andâMerlin help me.â He hasnât told anybody yet, not even his mum. Although in due time he would, perhaps after he talks to Celeste. He suspected his sister already knew. She had a good tendency to read him over like an open book.  His green eyes caught a stray piece of paper from under one of his sisterâs blankets and looked up to her curiously. âYou writing letters to somebody? You ought to cough it up, Celeste. Whoâs the lucky guy? Or girl, Iâm not judging.â
Celeste couldnât help but roll her eyes at her brother falling on her bed. He could be so overly dramatic at times. Especially when he liked a girl. Of course he cared what he thought. Her and him were two completely different people. While Celeste had accepted that she would never please their grandparents and she just didnât care anymore, Scorpius kept trying because that was just who he was Part of her wish she could be like thatâ it was one of the traits she had grown to admire about the boy. Even if she just thought the blonde was absolutely crazy for doing so. She loved him. Sometimes. âItâs not like you guys are going to run off and get married and then get pregnant the first chance you get.â The brunette pointed out very clearly. âBesides, theyâll be dead by the time any of that happens, hopefully.â She mumbled the last part mostly to herself. She could only hope. Sitting down on the edge of her bed, Celeste continued to listen to her apparent distressed older brother rant on about Lily Luna. Merlin, did he have it bad. Of course she knew Lily. They were in the same year at Hogwarts. âWell, what are you waiting for? Go tell her that!â The brunette urged her brother, smacking his arm. âIf you donât tell her soon, some other guy will and it wonât be pretty. I mean, she is a Potter.â Her attention moving to the stray piece of paper peeping out from underneath the blanket. Of course it did. It wasnât like she could hide them forever. They were the Malfoys, nothing ever stayed hidden for every long in their household. Celeste took no time in shaking her head and quickly taking it and folding it up. âOh, definitely not. Theyâre just papers. No big deal, really.â
