As we make our way into February, we approach the 5 year anniversary of Rhythm Doctor's early access release!

To celebrate, I made several lists of prompts so everyone could have something to spark some inspiration! I wanted to make them as open-ended as I could. I hope I did well enough! Please post these art pieces throughout February 19th-26th!

THE RHYTHM DOCTOR: TAROT COLLABORATION (2024)!!!

The day has finally come, as foretold by the cards! The Rhythm Doctor: Tarot Collab of 2024 is finally here! Over 15 artists across 22 artworks and 50 pages of fan-art, appreciation and trivia is compiled in this very post!

Across the last 4 months, we on the RD:TC 2024 team have been collecting the most talented of artists, the most excited of supporters, and creating the most beautiful art pieces between 7th Beat Games' Rhythm Doctor and the Major Arcana!

On top of a digital catalogue of varying styles and skills - we even included information on all of the artists involved! Curious on who did your favourite character or card? Look to the very next page and see an overwhelming amount of passion for Rhythm Doctor and tarot!

This project would not have been possible without so many people, so take a look towards our credits page at the end, and give a huge amount of thanks to those involved in the project - especially our backup artists. This project would not be here without them!

WHAT DO YOU MEAN RD:TC 2024 IS COMING OUT TOMORROW?

Announcing publication, answering questions, and pressing for the future.

The title says it all - we have a HUGE announcement: the Rhythm Doctor Tarot Collab 2024 is dropping on Twitter and Tumblr TOMORROW (16/12)!

The official publication will be via HeyZine, a free digital fanzine software that compiles all of the tarot cards and extra details! While we do not have an exact time of publication noted, it should be some time between 8AM and 10AM PST (Pacific Standard Time) on Monday the 16th. Publication will be via these RDTC social medias! You'll be provided the HeyZine link where you can few the publication freely.

Now to answer 'why the silence?'

Running these projects is busy work - on top of the business of our staff's every day lives, but we have undeniable gratitude towards our supporters and friends in the Rhythm Doctor community that helped us create and publish this project!

A lot of our background artists came in clutch and we would not be able to have this project published before 2025 without the support we received from this community - so thank you! Thank you so much! We have little other to provide other than this teaser image, so enjoy!

Welcome to the new-and-improved RHYTHM DOCTOR: TAROT COLLAB (2024) Tumblr account! This account is managed by @herosplatling-replica/ @angelictactics and will contain any and all future announcements regarding the project, such as...

APPLICATION RESULT EMAILS HAVE BEEN SENT!!!

If you have applied for the Rhythm Doctor: Tarot Collab, the time is NOW to check your emails! By the end of today (23rd of September), everyone who applied should have received an email from the RD:TC with the subject title "Rhythm Doctor: Tarot Results", and if you find that you haven't - double check that spam folder, or ask us directly in response to this post!

These emails will contain everything you need to know about your future with the project: from if you have been given a role, to what that role is, to answering any last questions that you may have. We encourage you to read these emails very carefully, even if you find that you were not given a role.

As it has been stated, though, we could not offer a role to every single applicant, so we also ask that you do not feel discouraged or personally attacked if you find yourself 'rejected'. There are many reasons why we could not have seen you working with us; from failing background checks, to applying for popular cards; but that is not to say that any future projects will not accept you onto their teams. Keep applying to places, and - most of all - keep your head up!

Now that we have our artists, it is more important than ever that we have your support and patience, for both those cheering us on from the bleachers, and those who weren't in the final selection. Your support is very important as our artists work on their cards through the next few months, and we will be sure to keep these accounts active with updates, teasers, and other RD:TC info.
