" i got your shirt all bloody. " - to bu-young
He could still hardly hear anything past the pounding of his own pulse and the ringing in his ears after the mass of GROWLING AND SNARLING that he, A-Yeong and Ji-Hyun had all been in the center of. Surrounded by STRANGE AND UNFAMILIAR BULGAE.
There had been no reasoning with them once they had their sights set on A-Yeong, so Bu-Young was forced to set aside his general pacifism that he normally held true to, in order to protect himself and A-Yeong to the best of his abilities. There had just been so many of them.
Ji-Hyun had actually arrived after the attack had begun, as though he’d caught wind of it INSTINCTUALLY and came running to the aid of the kumiho and the monk. Ji had turned the tide of the fight in their favor enough for them to come out on top, but not unscathed. Bu-Young had a few scratches here and there, Ji-Hyun had a bit of a nasty bite mark, but it all felt like nothing compared to the wound that A-Yeong had sustained on their leg. They all needed to get back to the house, but the kumiho needed pressure put on that wound before they went anywhere. Bu-Young had been in the midst of wrapping makeshift cloth dressing that had been a piece of Ji-Hyun’s shirt that had been torn away immediately when the monk had declared the need for it.
Having A-Yeong’s legs elevated on his lap, he had been leaning over to wrap the dressing, and some blood had wound up on his shirt. It hadn’t registered to him though, his body was still partially numb from adrenaline and his mind had defaulted to his instincts as a warrior. The APOLOGY given though, that had been enough to give even his mind pause.
“It is but woven fabric…all that matters is that we get you home, safely.” Without stopping in his care, Bu-Young looked to meet their gaze briefly with the utmost care, love, and concern, shaking his head before turning his focus back entirely to the wound. His energy wasn’t as plentiful as usual, with how hard he’d fought, so his healing magics were going to take a bit more time and a more comfortable setting to recoup. He finished wrapping their leg though, and did what he could to lessen the pain for them.
“Are you hurt anywhere else?”
