Couldn't find a better day to share about this beautiful book. It's Geeta Jayanti Today, Moksh Ekadashi, Today, Shri Krishna recited Geeta to Arjun in Kurukshetra.

I am starting with this beautiful book today with a hope to complete it by the end of the day. The Bhagavad Gita for millennials by Bibek Debroy published by @rupa_publications consists of a simple and cohesive form of Bhagavad Gita for Millennials. We all know the importance of Bhagavad Gita in our lives from our parents and grandparents. Every day my Grandmother and Mom Read one Chapter from Bhagavad Gita. It is a ritual that we have been following from years. My grandmother has years old Bhagavad Gita which is of more than 700 pages, with translations and commentaries. It's always a pleasure listening to them, reciting the Gita.

In this book, The author tries to explain the concepts interestingly. I liked how he added Shlokas in Sanskrit and later explaining about it. This book is truly a treasure for all those who want to start reading Bhagavad Gita.

Journaling ...

All I knew was to express my thoughts, all the things I was not able to share, I wrote them in my journal. Journaling is an art of expressing ourselves🌸, isn't it?. For some, it's in form of beautiful art, for some, it's in form of drawings, calligraphy, trackers, listings and many many more. Isn't it? We all have a part of ourselves in our journal, in the pictures we choose, the colours we apply and the lines we draw and quotes we write. It has all of us. It's an art which is never defined by anyone. It's about us, the lines we write, what we choose to express, what we want to share, isn't it?. For me, journaling is all about writing what I feel and going with my instincts. Earlier it was a page filled with quotes, lines and emotions. You can see the change in my writings. I never tried to make that page look beautiful... I just use to write according to my mood... Later I did paper play with the shades of browns and I enjoyed it. My journal is not colourful for now... No matter how hard I try. It has shades, shades of papers, unorganised patches and shades, it has a part of me... In every page.

.

Do not, do not try to follow or do something that someone else is doing in their journal, rather enjoy the process... Enjoy the selection of colours, papers, pens, that you can do it moment when you don't get a perfect line, that let it be as I love it page, just enjoy this process. Journaling can never be defined. There are many, many types of journaling, make sure you have your own type, the one you love, because it expresses you, it's a page of your thoughts, your love, your emotions and IT BELONGS TO YOU🌻

That's what I need to learn. No matter, how much I try, I can't keep calm.

If you ask me, one thing it need to learn? Is to have patience.

I wonder, why I start thinking negatively when there are times, I need to wait,

I wonder, why I start thinking about bad when I am called immediately..

I wonder... I wonder... Why can't I wait...

I want to make things work.. I truly want to... But there's something that's keeping me away... There's something that keeps telling me, to wait, to have patience...

.

With each passing day, with that Lil hope, by trying to be patient.. I am waiting... For the better things to come...

If you ask me, one thing I need to learn... It's to have patience...

I wanted to add a few things on this page but then once again I decided to go with the flow following my instincts.

Just slow down, take it easy, try not to create a sad story in someone's mind because of you, listen and express.

.

I have never been a person who expresses my emotions easily, especially when I am disturbed. I try to write and it calms me down. Even if I try to share, that feeling of being misunderstood has always been there. This journal has come to my rescue, many times. It calms me down. Many times I just write down, scribble down everything I feel and hide it with papers.

.

All I would say is, express, let it out all you feel. I will be adding an article on my blog which is very special to me.

I have been reading this amazing book by @anujamouli, published by @rupa_publications. I have been reading this one from a few days and totally enjoying it. I am loving how the story is turning out to be. I have always loved @anujamouli when it comes to mythology and this book once again made me fall in love with her writing more.

Her books have surprises stored for the readers.

▶️Do you plan your journal Page? Or just go with the flow? Do you like making a planner/to-do list or a habit tracker?.

.

Well, every time I plan a journal page, it happens exactly opposite to what I plan. Yes, here too, I made a layout, did a mistake, removed in and this is what I ended doing which actually looks more beautiful than the layout that I thought.

.

Whenever I plan, my instincts tell me to go with the flow and the results make me happy. Isn't life like that? Nothing happens how we plan, we just need to go with the flow because God has his own Plans!!!.

.

Well, there are so many things I want to write, I want to tell, I will be adding it soon on my website.

.

Coming to my QOTD, I can never make a to-do list or tracker as I can never stick to them, I try to pen down the quotes and lines from books and make a journal page.

.

▶ Do you follow a specific diet? Are you diet conscious? Also also whom you follow for healthy tips?

I was not a diet conscious person until last month. Yes, because of health issues I had to make changes in my diet and this book came to my rescue. I am making changes slowly and steadily, and it is helping.

.

The 12-week fitness project by @rujuta.diwekar

Published by @juggernaut.in is truly a fitness guide. I am following it and is still on week 1, but I finished reading this one making a proper plan for myself.

.

I loved how the author explains various concepts and how she encourages each one of us to make healthy changes. It was like I was talking to a friend. With a crisp and witty writing style, it's a book that will definitely make you change your diet.

.

With well-detailed information and insights, one can easily connect with the author. I liked how information is provided by the author in an interesting way. It had FAQs, reasons, notes and guidelines that are really helpful. It has reasons too, like why we should switch to a particular food which gives us a better understanding.

.

With intriguing pictures, charts and facts its a book that one must definitely read. The cherry on the cake is the fitness project for kids too at the end of the book.

.

Overall, it's an interesting read that will help each one of us in making changes in our diet for a healthy life. Once again, I loved the writing style, the way the author expressed, felt like talking to a friend.

To the skies and Waters by @sirjanubha published by @rupa_publications is a story of Aveera who is going to her dream college in Scotland. How will Scotland change her life? What will happen when she meets Aryan?

It's a tale of love, hope, family, friendship and self-discovery.

.

First of all, I liked the storyline of the book. It's apt and interesting in its own way. The plot is fascinating with a beautiful backdrop of Scotland described by the author. With an engaging narration and crisp writing style, the author makes us understand the importance of Mental Health in an interesting way.

.

Yes, it's a bit slow-paced story with a completely unexpected climax that will make you think. Yes, at first, I thought it is just another love story, but No, it's much more than that. It has an important message to convey, which the author did in a light and interesting way.

.

I liked how the author started the story, it will remind you of your friends and family, your college days and to appreciate the little joys of life. It's a blend of family love, friendship and Mental health awareness.

.

Filled with twists and lots of drama, the well-developed characters keeps the readers engaged throughout. I liked Aveera's Character and Rishika's character the most. The way she stood for Aveera.

.

How Aveera spirals into depression, how she understood the things later.

Overall, it's A simple, light and interesting read with an important message expressed by the author and of course with an unexpected Climax! Not to forget the beautiful cover.

▶️Tell me about the #books you're planning to read in October? Also also, any special plans?.

It's been more than 15 days that I did not do a page in my #journal. Finally, here I begin, I planned to do #positiveeverydayy but that couldn't happen. So you can just pick up a quote you like or a line you love and add it. Let this month be a month of what we love.

.

I haven't plan anything for the month, just taking each day as it comes.

.

Well well, I noticed one thing in my journal today, no matter how many colours I try to include or pictures I try to add, I am just not able to. I love making a page with scatter courier packages 🙈 yes you read it right, the reason I open my packages in a proper way so that I can use them in my journal.

.

I have different shades of browns and yellows and I am actually loving them. I try to add pictures, I had prints of but then something stops me and once again I do what I like.

▶️if you have to convey one message to the world what that message would be? Also also love reading short stories?.

Recently I am picking up light reads and the Oasis in the Dessert and other stories by @authorarushi is a collection of 9 short stories that will teach you a lesson.

Each story is different trying to convey a message to live each moment in life. Each story is based on different themes that keep the reader engaged throughout.

I liked how the author came up with different storylines that one could relate to. Each story is refreshing making the reader think about their actions twice. Yes, you never know how life may take a turn and the author wonderfully expressed that through her stories.

.

Based on the themes of Love, hope, loss and relationships the author blends the emotions well. My favourite stories are The imprisoned Cocoon, Real touch and Reborn. I loved these stories.

.

The simple and engaging writing style of the author and fast-paced stories filled with drama makes this book more interesting.

There were some stories which I thought could have a beautiful climax as they ended up incomplete. I wanted to know more about what will happen next there.

.

All the stories are simple and appealing. The crisp narration and varied interesting plots make this book interesting. Not to forget the beautiful cover!.

The journey of Inspiration by @author_sunilpande published by @rumourbooks is an interesting read. It's a journey of Shree who wants to go the Himalayas in search of Sanjeevani Booti, from his grandma. But how? How will he know about Sanjeevani Booti, will he take a leap of faith just because one unknown sage told him to? Will he find it for his Grandma? Lil did he knew was this adventure is going to teach him a lesson for a lifetime.

.

Well, from the cover it feels it's a nonfiction book but No! It has an intriguing storyline filled with mystery and adventures. The vivid backdrop of Uttarakhand and Nature, the author truly describes it's beauty. From Dombivali to Dehradun, from the beauty of Rishikesh to the Five Prayags, to the Adisaka, everything is just beautifully described by the author.

.

The plot of the story is interesting. I liked how the author sequenced the events. With each event, the quest of finding Sanjeevani Booti unfolds taking Shree to an amazing adventure.

.

I liked the way the story unfolds, the people Shree came across and the lessons he learned. It's a story with a Smooth flow and an intriguing Narration.

.

The gripping narration and the crisp writing style of the author keeps the reader engaged throughout.

It's a fast pace story until the last few chapters. I wish there were less unnecessary details and the story was not slow-paced there.

.

I was lil disappointed with the climax too as there were many unanswered questions in my mind. The strong characters developed by the author leaves an impact on the minds of the reader.

I like Professor's character and of course Shree's character the most. The other characters too capture the reader's attention.

.

I liked how the story turned out to be. The lessons we all must learn. The author has a strong message to convey in the form of 10 life-changing lessons.

It's a delightful and light read that you're going to like. A combination of Mystery, Adventure and lessons for life.

▶️Hope! What makes you happy on bad days?. Also also tell me about something New you learned recently?.

Last few days were the toughest and I am still trying to get over those days. But after everything, there has been something that changed in me. I came home as a different person.

.

I have been reading this beautiful book by Dr Kashyap Patel. Well, I saw death and hope there, in those 5 days. And this book really helped me in many ways.

.

Between Life and death by Dr, Kashyap Patel tells us about people Battling cancer and introduce us to the Dr Patel Patients who are battling their inevitable fate.

.

Through him, we meet Harry, who, after a life full of adventure, is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. As he stares death in the face, Harry leans on Dr Patel, an expert in understanding the process of death and dying. His questions and fears are addressed through the stories of many other patients that Dr Patel has treated. 

.

What ties these stories together is the single thread of the lessons Harry learns along the way, lessons that ultimately enable him to plan his own exit from the world gracefully-dying without fear.

.

The crisp and gripping writing style of the author keeps the reader engaged throughout. We all have harry in us. His fears, his dreams, his fighting spirit. It's a book that will melt your heart, that will fill your eyes with tears and will definitely make a difference in your life.

.

It will give you the strength to deal with the fears, that hope for a new day. It's a combination of An intriguing narration with a depth of emotions. Those uncertain anxieties, all the second thoughts that a person has, the fears are wonderfully expressed by the author.

.

It's a different read, and I am glad I came across this book. An honest book filled with hope that will surely change your perspective. Looking for a different read? Do try this book. Read it at your own pace, understand.

How will she manage everything? Will her party better than Honey, her kitty kat friend?. . Set in Dubai, with the backdrop of Glamour, it's a light read with an interesting plot. It's about the journey of Pam, who tried her best to fix things, it's a journey of Mommy of a teenage daughter who tries to sort out things with her daughter, it's a journey of a businesswoman who is all set to achieve the targets, it's a journey of a wife of a big businessman of Dubai, who is trying her best to keep up her husband's reputation. Juggling with many emotions, I feel, it's an Honest Story. . With crisp and engaging narration, it's a delightful read. I liked how the events turned out to be. This book has drama, fun and emotions which will keep a smile on your face throughout. I liked how the author added Lil twists with every chapter. The writing style of the author is witty and lucid keeping the reader hooked throughout. . The characters are well developed by the author. I liked how Raj's character the most and of course Pam. We all will find a bit of ourselves in each character. Be it Teenage fantasies, siblings love, or a family drama, this book has it all. Each emotion is expressed beautifully by the author. . Pam's journey is filled with lots of drama, problems and extravaganza. Overall, it's a simple light read, filled with humour and love. Just like a Bollywood movie. I felt, we all will go through a phase that Pam went through. . Mom always says All you need is a Lil Ray of hope to find a new way. And this has been working for me. Last few days has been the toughest. There has been zero reading or work and many visits to the hospital. I miss reading and my work. The busy schedules that keep me busy. But in the last few days, I learned a lot. They always ask me, how reading helped me, and in these tough times, I really found the answer. Almost after a week, I picked up a book, and what it taught? It taught me to Value. To value each and every opinion, each and every individual. It taught me to make wise decisions after considering every opinion. In the last few days, things turned out to be messy, but I learned. I learned one of the most important lessons, that is to not take anyone lightly. Yes, there may be people who might just speak less, who might not have conversations, But, they'll be there when you need them. They'll be there as a solid rock. I learned to Appreciate. To appreciate the people I have in my life, My work and myself. Reading taught me to Value and take wise decisions. It once again changed my perspective. Well, there are still many visits to the hospital, but hopefully, it will be over soon. I am trying to get back to the routine soon. . The author discusses 36 various topics and tells about various energies, theories and more. . I liked how the author parallelly related to the things, the scenarios that we face in our daily lives. It took me some more time to connect with the book as it's a bit difficult and different. The author explained the meanings of various words and their importance. It's a blend of spirituality and philosophy. . Concepts like Orbits, Opposites Attract, combinations, Breathing, Randomness, the three acts and many more are explained by the author in an intriguing way. This book has depth and so many things to learn. . It's a heavy read with a unique writing style. At some point, I was clueless about what was happening in the book. It has no flow. Yes, which makes it difficult for the reader to connect. . It's a different read. There were a few chapters which I really liked, while some, I found it difficult to connect to. Few chapters I read and reread to understand. . However we many odds, it's an interesting book with several lessons. You'll discover a lot. . Read it one page at a time, understand and execute it.
