this is literally perfection
What? Am I too late on our trip to hell?
Oh no weâre totally already there. You canât tell?
âOh Reagan, of course I wonât leave. I could never leave you.â
âI-i just get scared..really scared of losing more people.â
Ollie laughed and rolled his eyes at Reaganâs compliment. Cute was never a compliment guys liked to receive â at least Ollie â but he knew sheâd meant well. His eyes focused on Lucy again when Reagan answered that she understood, and he smiled sadly. Lucy was probably his parents largest piece of evidence against him when they claimed that a fuck up was all he was, but Ollie begged to differ. Lucy was the best thing heâd ever done. She was beautiful and happy and brought joy to people, which was something he was proud of. âYeah? Mâsister is some perfect child with âer own fashion line anâ boutiques anâ shit. Then thereâs me. âWhatâll you âave me doinâ as an assistant? âCause it depends on whaâ kinda day Iâm âavinâ.â
âThatâs funny because Iâm fashion too.â She laughed softly and rubbed Lucyâs back lightly. âIâm a stylist though. So i put the pretty clothes on people. Most of it will really consist of you following me around and making sure we have all of the outfits and that the client is comfortable. So itâs a lot of as kissing which is never fun.â She shrugged and played with Lucyâs fingers. âOr I could help you find something else more fitting. I have a lot of friends around New York.â
âCheap leather? This isnât cheap, sweetheart.â
âI dress pretty boys like you for a living. I know when something is and is not cheap.â

Eddie sighed and laced their fingers together. He wanted her to know that he would always be there for her even through the hard times. He just didnât know how to say it. Instead he cleared his throat and slowly nodded. âI know.â Eddie whispered while catching a glance at her.Â
She held onto his hand as he drove and her eyes focused on what was passing by outside. When they finally pulled back up to her apartment she stayed silent for a moment and didnât move from her seat. She eventually let out a loud sigh and leaned over the seat to press a soft kiss to his lips before pulling away and closing her eyes. âIâll see you soon, okay?â
Are you serious? Youâre drinking this away? And not only that, youâre drinking something that is going to make you pile on fifty pounds in year? If youâre going to become an alcoholic, at least drink something less calorific.Â
Seriously? Youâre concerned about my weight? And donât patronize me about alcohol, Sierra. Iâm dealing in my own way. Just accept it.Â
Hold Back The River | Rea & Will
William bit his lip, not sure how to handle this. Heâd never really consoled or comforted anyone before - not since Isla, and she was just two years old, and that was usually when she was tired or had a scraped knee. This was so different. âItâs okay,â he whispered and took a deep breath. âOf course you can, Iâll⊠wake you up later⊠for food.â He sent her a weak smile and then wandered into the bedroom to get her a duvet. He covered her with it and then squeezed her shoulder gently. âIâm sorry, Reagan.â
Reagan set her cup down and when he came back with the blanket she reached out for his hands and held them close to her. She rubbed her thumb over his knuckles and her tired eyes roamed his face to get a sense of how he was feeling. It had always been hard to read him but she had watched as the months passed and his expression with her would soften somewhere along the way. Her voice was tired and raspy as she finally opened her mouth and there were so many emotions running through her body. The thought of Audrey and everything that had happened between her and William. âWe could have been good...â She smiled sadly and looked up at him with tear filled eyes as she kept a hold on his hand. âYou and me..we could have been real good, right?â She reached up and wiped a few tears from her face as she brought his hands to her lips and kissed them softly. âIâll only sleep for a little bit, promise.â

Eddie found his way back into the drivers seat, taking her hand back into his. âThanks for the heads up.â A small laugh escaped his lips as he pulled out of the parking lot. âMaybe Iâll come visit you to make sure youâre eating right, exercising, getting the basic needs to liveâŠ.Iâll decide later though.â
âAh who needs the basic needs to live,â she said dryly before squeezing his hand. There was still a pounding in her head and the alcohol had only helped to numb the rest of her mind as they drove back down the familiar road. âI just wish everything could stop you know? And we could be little kids again.â She sighed as she looked out the window. âEverything is so fucked up.â
âI guess I can understand thaâ a bit. I hate livinâ undaâ mâparents, but I dunno whaâ Iâd do fâI wasnâ. Dunno if Iâd make it, yâknow?â Ollie was about to reach out and take Lucy back, but when he looked up at Reagan and saw how she held onto Lucy, he second-guessed himself. She seemed to be enjoying Lucyâs company, and though Ollie didnât get to spend as much time with her as a normal dad would, he guessed he spent enough with her that he could share her with a new friend for a few minutes. Ollie kissed Lucyâs hand and then leaned back in his chair again, smiling softly at Reagan. âI got no talents, love. Well, thaâs a lie. Iâm real talented in the art of thâfuck up.â
Reagan smiled softly at the way he interacted with his sister and bounced her slightly on her knee. âNo talents? Oh come on, you have to have some. You know besides being a cutie.â She let out a laugh and reached out for the water she had on the table. âMm, the fuck up? I know that one very well,â she commented with a smirk. âHm, how good are you at being on time with things? Cause I could offer you a potential position for you to be my very poorly paid assistant,â she told him with another laugh.
Whatâre you getting to drink? And yeah, Iâm good.Â
Iâve been particularly fond of vodka these days. Vodka and red bull so I can be drunk and dont have to sleep through nightmares
âI think we arenât made to hurt forever, Reagan. So maybe I really am right.â
âWell at least we have each other, right? Promise me you wonât leave...â
this is literally perfection
âOkay, stop. âIf youâre gonna ask me to do your taxes, turn around and walk in the other direction. If notâ Well, whatâs up?â
âWhy the fuck would I ask someone in a cheap leather and a lands end polo to do my taxes?â
My father marries a 26 year old bimbo and goes away on honeymoon and now I have to hear her brag about the great present she brought me, and according to my father, I have to wear it for his sake.
Lizzie fucking Lennox in the flesh. Well Iâll be damned.
Ollie smiled, more in response to Reaganâs words, but kept his eyes on Lucy. He bounced her legs side to side, making faces at Lucy, and shrugged. âWell, it ainât London, thaâs for sure, yâknow? Why donâ yâlike it?â Ollie guessed it probably was a better place to raise a child than London was. It was notorious for teens that didnât give a fuck what the law said â Ollie a prime example â and Lanford seemed quieter. At least, so far. Kinda. Ollie looked up at Reagan and shook his head. âNah, I donâ âave a job,â he answered. âI gotta get one soon enough. Iâm fuckinâ twenty-two and ainât nevaâ âad one.â
âAh I mean itâs for personal reasons, really. I always feel so stuck when Iâm here but somehow I always come back so I guess that says somethingâ She shrugged and held Lucy with one arm as she ran her other hand through her hair. âTwenty-two and no job? Ah what it is to be young,â she teased. âWhat kind of skills do you have? Maybe I can help you find something.â
