“Stereotypical, maybe… But it seemed accurate in my head.” Sam laughed. The idea of William as a pseudo-pimp-like character in a club didn’t seem that off, but it wasn’t a bad thing to her. It was amusing. “I like to think I can dance. I’m not exactly the best, but in clubs it’s pretty much jumping and grinding, so it doesn’t take much skill.” It was true; she barely had any rhythm to her, but the club scene didn’t seem to mind. “Well, no shame in that, I guess. Lay low at the bar. Or something. I don’t know.” She looked over to where he pointed, driving up to the corner before pulling over at the curb and switching the car to park. “Welcome home, William, the club-owner hitch hiker… But yes. I try, at least. Not sure if I consider myself a successful flirter if I have no goal, though.”

"It did? Well, I don't know whether to be flattered or offended— probably the latter," he joked and scratched his chin, leaning his head back against the headrest with a chuckle. "Yeah, I do see a lot of jumping and grinding at the club, seems like it's the only way to do it these days." He shrugged, trying to recall seeing more original dance moves, but without success. "Laying low is kind of the only way to go about it after owning the place for over a year— partying every night gets exhausting when you have to do paperwork the next day." He clicked the seatbelt off and let his hand linger on the door before he opened it, looking over at Sam. "Thanks for the ride, Sam— I'll be sure to repay you at the club." He chuckled with a nod. "Alright, well, successful or not, it's always fun." He smiled and then got out. "I'll see you at Podium, love."

He mirrored her smile easily and emptied his glass once again. "He left? Well damn, that's rough... I hope you hear from him soon though." Inhaling sharply, William's gaze fleeted when she turned the subject back on him, making him squirm a little. "From the beginning, huh? I don't know how to do that, honestly. As you know, I'm from England. Born in London... Lived there most of my life." He shrugged, not sure how to continue.
