Because he understands. I read so much complaining about how Sandor didn’t step in for Sansa when Joffrey was having her beaten. He was the King’s dog. It didn’t mean for a second he agreed with what Joffrey was doing. I like to think that this was Sandor’s reaction the entire time. But he knew his place.

I don’t do drabbles. I shut up and play my part. But dammit. Silence doesn’t always mean you’re agreeing. It sometimes means you’re biding your time to say ‘fuck the King.’
