08.16.21 - Today I noticed...

...how productive I am. lol

It's my day off from work -- yes, on a Monday. Woke up at 8AM, made sandwich for my breakfast. Even brewed a cup of hot green tea!

I went to our front porch and just stared off into the blue morning sky. I hear the birds chirping, and my dogs practically barking at anything from the background.

I feel like I was still half asleep to be honest. But hey, that's a good start for the week.

I mean, this probably has always been the same scene in the province everyday. It's just that I wasn't able to experience it because my ass is still asleep during this time. 😂

Anyway, I am just babbling here for writing exercise. Checking if I can revive my creative writing juices that was left to dry for the past years.

Will it work? I hope so. I've been looking into this "thing" for the past few weeks and it got me all riled up.

How's it going? - 08.12.21

It's been what 3-4 years since my last post? lol 😅

It's ECQ season 3 na so people got a lot of time on their hands nowadays. I'm one them. I have so much extra time I don't even know what to do with it.

But one thing's for sure, I am wasting a LOT of this extra time. And I know I'm gonna regret it soon if I did not do anything productive.

So how's it going na nga ba for me? Good I guess? Pretty normal? Corporate Slave? Financially unstable? (like most adults my age are probably) 😂 Well to be honest I don't know how else to describe it, I lived a pretty boring and normal life for the past years being an adult.

I mean, ayon, I work a fulltime job as a Software Engineer at this Private company. Been employed for 3-ish years now as of writing. Met a lot of great friends/colleagues along the way. Learned a lot of skills and all the "business" things from the past years which further improved my professional side.

Been cursing a lot too. LMAO sorry, Mom 😂 Well not the curse that's directed to anyone, more like it just turned into an expression. A second language like "charot" "chos", you know? lol

Anyway, I was living in San Antonio, Pasig for almost 2 yrs since I started working but then pandemic hit forcing me to go back home to the Province where I currently live now. I'm working from home now btw, which is very convenient. I couldn't be thankful enough that I still got to keep my job. Still missing the city life tho- not gonna lie.

In general, my life has been a blessed one (kahit na I admit, di ako gaano nakakapag pray or simba). But I know, He is still there blessing me, guiding me, protecting my whole family from the uncertainties of this world. And I am forever grateful.

So yeah, I just wanted to drop by and say that.

Might start posting more again too. I just got a lot in my head and needed something to load off all what's in there lol. I don't know, tumblr always seems to be my safe space. Like my personal diary.

It was supposed to be our 8th month.

Hadn't you given up on us.

I'm slowly starting to accept things.

That it'll never be the same for us.

That there will never be an US.

But why does it still feel like that dreaded morning? That morning when you had competely shatteted my heart.

It was like it just happened yesterday.

Because I am still as broken as I was 6 months ago.

T*ngina kung may mali kayong nakikita sakin. SABIHIN NYO SAKIN. Hindi yung pag uusapan nyo ko behind my back, pretending everything is okay. Iipunin nyong lahat, until one day ibabagsak nyong lahat sakin. Ano pa magagawa ng sorry ko? Eh inipon nyo nang lahat, inipon nyo hanggang sa pagpatong patungin lahat ng nagawa ko. Hanggang sa hindi nyo na ko mapatawad. Hanggang sa kahit anong pilit kong maging okay ang lahat, alam naman nating lahat na it's too late na. It's just me against you guys. And how should I defend myself?

Kahit yung thesis ayoko na maalala. Akala ko I can be proud of that kasi grabe yung hirap natin don. Pero hindi pala, kasi whenever I look back to that naalala ko yung sinabi nyo sakin yung mga BS ko nung time na yon. Nakakalungkot. Na I can't even look back at that one achievement in my life nang hindi naalala how different your perspective was towards me.

ANG UNFAIR NYO. Kasi nagkaron ng kampihan. In the end ako parin yung naiwan. Ako parin yung second choice, the fudge hindi pa nga second choice. LAST pa nga.

Okay lang naman kayo na wala ako diba? Ako lang naman to eh. Hindi naman ako kawalan. Hahaha Good for you guys, you have each other. 😊

(11.01.17) Rundown of events this past year:

I've been gone for waaaayy too long and I dunno where to start. So much had happened the past year, ups and downs. MYGOODNESS 'Twas rough but oh so worth it in the end.

What had I been up to?

1. For starters, I fell in Love. Oh boy did I fell head over heels for this guy in our class. He was everything I ever wanted in a guy, and he said he feels the same way. And so we started a relationship.

2. I felt separated in our group. By group, I mean the group of friends I've been with for the past 5 years. It just wasn't the same anymore.

3. I graduated College. It was one of the proudest days of my life, Graduating with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering isn't easy for me.

4. Right after graduation, we started our 6 month long review preparation for the ECE and ECT board exam on October 2017.

5. And then... We broke up. He. Fvckng. Broke. Up. With. Me. THAT FVCKNG HURTS I NEVER KNEW HEARTBREAKS COULD HURT SO BAD. LIKE WTAF. (anyway, saving more details for a separate post.)

6. Devastated as F. I couldn't think and concentrate on my studies. My "friends" were gossiping behind my back. So I chose to be left alone with no one to talk to because I can't trust anyone at that time. I was so misserable.

7. Less than 2 months before the exam, I decided to trust one friend. To tell her what I've been going through. How lonely and betrayed I was. And It was the best decision I ever made. Because her group of friends accepted me, and I slowly started to lift myself from the hell hole I was in.

8. I took the exam, with clear vision of my goal. And a full heart that God is always there to guide me through it.

9. And now, I am an Engineer. A licensed Electronics.Engineer and ECT. And I couldn't be any prouder of myself. (Will be saving some details for a separate post😂)
